I agree on my Hero 2 I use 720 60fps too. Sound isnt too bad, but its muffled. The mic opens up the crispnessss

The Hero3 can do 1080/60 but most people report the video as being choppy. Personally I think this comes down to what they use to view the video... We record at 1080-60 on our Hero3 Blacks without issue although what I use to process the video has 16gb of ram and a fairly serious graphics card that I've over clocked.
The Hero4 will do 1080/120
The one thing that gets a lot of people is that 60fps takes more memory, basically double that of a 30fps video. Most can't afford cards that big or they buy the cheap ones. A cheap SD card with a slow transfer rate will absolutely kill video quality because it can't be written to fast enough.
I am curious to see how the new Hero4 cube thing performs.

I still want to get a camera drone, I have so many epic ideas in my head for video ideas.
Best Buy stocks the Yuneec Typhoon q500 which is a really nice drone with a 4K camera mounted on a stabilized and motorized 3 axis gimbal. The gimbal also has a steady mount for shooting video off the drone. Camera will do 4K/30 and 1080P/120 plus 12MP stills. Controller has a built in screen to see footage in realtime and has a bunch of advanced control modes. The complete kit is only like 1800 which isn't bad for what you get. They make a version that will hold a GoPro but you don't have full camera control like the 4K camera does

also i turned my spot meter off. anybody notice a difference
theyre coming. roads have been damp all day so far.
side note, thinkin im gona have to get this ball joint buckler mount. that will allow me to swivel the camera at will. i would also be able to get rid of the concoction i had to make to find a decent angle. that and some adhesive mounts for the dash. that sounds like a good deal right there..... dash adhesive with the ball joint buckler, for rotating at different cars.
