Check out this site: http://members.***.net/kimini22/car/index.html

He built a h22 mini. Look as his shifter assm. He just fliped it to make it to work. Its a good read. Started in 96.

What about the e-brake? how are you going to address this?

Look in my Sig, that might be where you got the link from Hes my inspiration!
For now, Im unhooking it, parking in gear. Better have some good compression numbers! I will be trying to build in some sort of line-lock. Luckily, Im a flatlander, so worst case scenario, keep a 4X4 of wood behind the drivers seat
Engine is in by itself now, have to fabricate some stronger upper strut/UCA mounts. Ive decided to use "slotted" UCA mounts, so itll be very easy to adjust camber.

My moms Kalua rocks BTW! Along with her Cherry wine

If i was doing it i would put the radiator in the front, where it is in a stock del sol. And then just run two cooling lines. Thats how the NSX does it.

Yep, should be interesting, considering I have only seen a handful of RWD converted Hondas(two I think to be exact).

Two that arnt s2000's? please enlighten me with a thread or a link please!

I have always thought the prelude had enough power and the right body type to be rear wheel drive right from the factory what do you think?

As far as the ebrake, I was thinking more on the line of ebrake turns/drifting. I know that willwood makes a "ebrake caliper". Maybe you can make an adaptor plate and modify the caliper for the width of a front rotor for your rear set up.

The Option2 del sol above, and an S2k converted Civic from CAN.
Im not sure on the Ebrake, its kind of a mute subject at this point. The car will run/drive fine w/out one, so its not too much an issue. It would be nice to have to initiate slides though besides the throttle.
Yes, Ill be using two stock radiators in the front. One for the engine, the other for the monster WAIC Ill be building. Along with the gas tank and stock pump(255lph)/lines(might rape my red car of its braided lines, we will see).

Got it all mocked up, hanging on its own.
I have to reinforce the hell out of the shock/UCA mount area, but Im spent for the night, and have alot of manifolds to get out this week.

Yes, Im really picking the car off the blocks, and yes Im really a wuss.

Got all this done today, its Sunday, my day of rest(ya, right).

dear god... you even look like a cody... err. i mean that rwd h22 sol looks amazing!

Again... more pics when you finish

Althought everyone is cumming over the fact you are doing the RWD h22, I'd like to know what are you plans for the turbo setup/built motor?

Darton sleeves(installed locally), T4 SC61, Speedpro management, 1600cc injectors. Endyn 87mm pistons(whatever stock bore is), and probably Eagle rods because this is NOT going to be a strip killer.
Oh, and a wicked turbo manifold. Basically a header that travels up behind the intake manifold and places the turbo behind that.
Ill be hacking apart the stock intake manifold. Short runners, large plenum(to maximize room for the turbo), and because the stock one blows cookies.

me neither! If I can pic up the front end at almost full weight(ok, not really, empty engine/trans being used for mocking), then I think 350-400 lb/ft of torque should be able to as well.
