Lol, Im on bottom

The reason I chose H22 is because its trannies use a cable-actuated shifting mechanism. The shifter is done(needed some modifying), just need to mount it up and run the cables back.
The reason I didnt use prelude suspension is simple: I dont want the track width in the back to be 12 inches wider(exageration) than the front. I plan on using 345/35/15 tires front and rear, and Id like them to be equally large(yes, some sort of fender flare will be made). Plus, Id have to find an expensive prelude for parts, when I have 6 civics in my backyard. Hmm...I choose civic suspension!
K, shipping labels are done, back to welding manifolds!

I think the shift linkage is the least of his problem. Mounting that engine and wiring will be headache. Oh yeah, the cooling system too. Are you gonna have front mount radiator? If I was him, I just buy a Toyota MR2 turbo and done with
. May be he can swap an H22 in an MR2 and make it work??

Engines almost hanging by itself boys and girls...
A trip to the bolt store, a few tacks here and there, and the blocks/chunks of wood come out. Id take pics, but Jen stole my camera to take pics of the 2ft of snow we got yesturday and today.
I slapped some wheels on there to see how they line up in the wheel wells...Looks to be about a half-inch toward the back, which is ok for me(the car was too twitchy anyway)!
I decided early on that this wasnt going to be an F1 car, so my tolerances for wheel-base, track width, etc were going to be 1/4 inch. Im WELL within that tolerance on all aspects of where the wheels lie.
I raised the engine/suspension roughly 3 inches from where it should be stock, this means itll lower the rear of the car 3 inches. I dont care if low is rice or whatever, I LIKE IT LOW!. The front will be "lowered" in the same manner when the time comes.
Thats all for tonight, I have to get up at 6 am and bust some manifolds out.
