trudat. Everythings ready for the new water pump(broke mine when dissassembling last fall), timing belt, head gasket. Then it goes in for the final time.
I got one of the coolant lines done, all the bracing done, and made sure the axles actually worked(yes they did).
Once I get a running engine, it all comes together in a matter of days!
Pics will be up around lunch time...

Kinda way-off-topic here, but Im thinking of doing some shirts:
"LoveFab, INC.
Home of the RWD del Sol."
with a greyscale image of the Sol in the back ground...
ount know, I think itd be cool.
Im uploading some pics I took last night, they will be posted momentarily!
Dan, you get a free shirt if you do(saves on shipping!
). Oh ya, bring that swap with you, we'll work a header into the deal

If I go on AIM, Ill be there till noon. I mean the ITR swap...
Heres some pictures:
Yup, axles line up ok, not any worse than they should anyway...

Outside shots(yes, it rolls around provided you have two people whoreing each rear wheel so they stay straight!)

Radiator hose, and finished cage/chassis.

It was cleaning day, hence all the mess all over...

wow I didn't realize where you were at..........you are all the way across the state
I would have to drive forever and only get like 3 ours of sleep....I might not come out that way after all because it would all have to be done in a weekends time and I highly doubt that will happen. My next break is at the end of September and I have to go back home to SC then (12 hour drive also).
hmmm

yeah I was thinking you were closer to detroit until I looked at your location under your avatar....BTW, I need you to email me some information on that header (size of primaries, type of flange being welded on etc. etc.) at DirtyDan463@aol.com
That's hilarious.
I was just looking for MR del Sol info and subscribed to each thread I found.
The fact that this is an old thread doesn't change the fact that there's probably some good info here, and placing it in my subscription folder means I don't have to read all 45 pages "right now".
Thanks for the warm welcome, though. Some real winners in here. :D

A previous owner of this del Sol just purchased the Pikes Peak chassis in my profile pic. Amazing that ten years later, the world keeps getting smaller!

Does anyone know where the del Sol went? I've made contact with at least two people that have owned it. An owner list should start now....
