Running with no wastgate spring???

Even with my "hairdryer" I can stay out of boost if I wanted to.
It would be safer to prevent the possibility of boost.
Both points are valid, but this is common practice to remove the spring.

I drove my car on a basemap and just kept it out of boost. It's not hard to do. I have a 57 trim on a d series though

lets just leave it at this...

Any smart driver and any smart tuner should solely advise to tow the car until it has been properly tuned for the build.

Sure if you have a sleeved motor with rods, pistons, cams and the works, then yes tow that thing. Stock block turbo d series, just drive it on a basemap.

I wouldnt advise ths but i have a friend who had a base map for over a year a he beats the living **** out of that thing,he even ran at the track last summer alot of times. Again im not telling anyone to do this but its just some sh*t I never seen before.
