Point me in the right direction for sohc tubro
ok so im pretty much a noob to boost. im a huge fan of all motor, but i got a smoking deal on a d16a6, and might be picking up a crx for super cheap as well.
Im looking for to run 20psi or 300whp, whichever comes first.
The motor, as said before, is a d16a6 which I plan to pull apart and build the bottem end with forged internals.
I know plenty about building the internals, my question is on the turbo components.
To reach my goal what size intercooler piping am I going to need, will I be able to get away with 2.5 or do I need to go bigger?
For the turbo, what size? I was hoping to run something like a 16g with an external waste gate.
And for the manifold? log or equal length to reach my goal? if I dont need to shell out 500 for a ramhorm or fullrace manifold i'd rather not.
Please point me in the right direction, im no noob to honda's, just a noob to boost.
Info, links, anything is appreciated.

Re: (Whiteintegra)
I just give you some starter info, hang around here and some other forums enough and youll have a decent FI setup. 20psi is really relative, that could be a different amount of power on one turbo and a TON more on another. Find a decent sized turbo for what your going to use the engine/car for then go from there. Usually people dont go bigger then 2.75in cause thats the size of the TB. (well b series anyways). It kinda depends on what you get your hands on. 2.25 should be fine on the hot side with 2.5 or 2.75 on the cold side of the intercooler. You can run an HF manifold for cheap. I havent herd of anyone putting down 300whp on an HF mani, but Im sure with enough porting and a ton of boost you could get there. Search around and check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com for some more info. Good luck
