Default Girlfriend is buying my turbo, which should i get?

So my girlfriend is acutally buying my next most expensive part for my car because she thinks im spending too much on it already. The next most expensive is the turbo (also need a 3" exhaust, wastegate) So im now looking for the perfect streetable/fun to drive turbo for my car. I have a f23 accord being built right now. I dont want to go into all the specs of my engine, but the most important part would be that its 9:1 compression, forged rods, ACl bearings, Supertech valve train/retainers, Golden Eagle sleeve. The 87.5mm pistons, with a 97mm stroke. Im looking at either the GT3071R, GT3076R, or the GT3082R turbo, in a .63 housing for the latter two turbos, and a .86 for the smallest one listed. Im looking for atleast 400whp, but id like to be in the 450whp range with full boost @ less then 4200 rpms. If you guys can give any recommendations that i can look into that would help. So, getcha post on, ill be readin'

14B. Does she actually know how much these turbos cost?

I'd get a GT3082R.

3076 is the best wheel match IMO. But you could make your power goals on a 3071 too.

Yeah she knows how much they cost. I told her the cheapest would be 1200, and the most expensive would be around 1600. The reason im asking about which one to get is because im trying my hardest to match the turbo to my engine as a fun daily driver. Im not going for braging rights or a drag car, im trying to get the best power range throughout my limited rpm range as possible. Im not sure what ill be able to rev up to with my new valves and bearings, but im guessing that ill be able to get from 7k to 8k rpms, if i can get a larger power band then ill be able to get a bigger turbo to utilize that.

lol yeah she has a sister but she only makes minimum wage. So good luck on getting anything more then broken items on clearance. The logic behind her buying my turbo is, she has great credit i got cash. So she can throw it on her credit card and pay it off slowly, but i have to pay for everything upfront. But anyways yeah, the 3071 with a .82 housing might do me justice. I called ATPturbo and they pretty much told me that if i dont have a fatter powerband that the GT3076 ( hks 3037) and the GT3082 (GT30/GT40) might have too much ***** for my car

A GT42 is a great turbo if i was drag racing, or if i could rev up to 10,000 rpms. But on an accord it would be a big waste. I wouldnt get spool until 3k rpms, and i wouldnt reach full boost until 5500rpms, i would only have 800rpms of fun time. But i think im going to go with a GT3071R, because i want 3 things from this turbo. First a realiable car. Second a Fun car to drive with a fast spoolup, and third a 400-440whp daily driver.

Might want to take a look at the S256 from borg-warner. I would recommend the .58a/r if you are going to be doing mainly street. I just saw the dyno on that combo 445whp@21 psi.

That turbo with the .75a/r has done 550whp@30psi if you need alittle more top end kick.

Just another one to think about.

Who, what, vacation?! im talkin about turbos here, screw a vacation, we can do that anytime. Vacations are cheap, this turbo and my engine together is going to be over 7k, plus i still need more parts!

Im so close to this thing being finished, im trying to get it outta the way then get everything else in my life started.

oh, and, she already treats me like god
