Oil level drop while running?

also are u giving the seals a brake in period. u should run dino oil and let them brake in for a bit before switching to synthetic and beating on it.

i havent done that. but i havent beaten on the car. i have never even gotten into boost. ive only driven about 2 miles

I would have to say the restrictor is too small, can't tell the size by looking at it, but it seems a bit small.

Looks like a GT restrictor .035 you should be running a .065

^^^thats what i was thinking too but its so hard to tell from a pic. for 10 bucks just order a new one that u know for sure is the right size before u pop this turbo too.

my problem is over oiling, not under-oiling

for 10 bucks buy the right size resistor so youre sure. .065 - .080, no bigger no smaller. how are u sure its over oiling and not under oiling.

because oil is coming out of the seals of my turbo. and I havent boosted, or even driven the car. just let it idle

youre probably right then, the one u have is too big grab a smaller one. if your makes 100 psi i would go with the .065 if its 70ish i would go with the .08

alright sweet man. do i need a flange for the restrictor to go into? or does it just go straight into the turbo? i have been searching for a flange that i could put a restrictor into but i cant find one

or u can use the in line one which is what i use.
