Bingo...

I'm running those pistons in my D16Z6. Compression is around 10.4:1 with a .5mm overbore.

how did that setup feel at that c/r?

The bottom end and midrange was pretty strong. The top end fell off asusual.

I would like to point out that:

1. This engine was never boosted at the stock 9:1 compression ratio so I don't have much of a basis for comparison.

2. I street tuned the myself. I'm not a professional tuner. In fact after selling off the charger and running the car on the stock ECU I realized I was running richer than I had thought.

Next time around I will surely employ the services of a professional tuner to extra the most out of the setup.

What are the options for blower rebuilds and porting? What companies are doing it? Any experiences?

for those of you looking to increase boost, jr does not sell the upgraded crank pulley anymore they stoped selling that back in december of 05. If you want a bigger crank pulley i suggest going with the 92-95 civic ex or Si crank pulleys, they are slightly larger and have 4 ribs, go with a smaller sc pulley from endyn he sells various sizes at http://www.theoldone.com they are also 4 ribed, you can find the 4 rib altenator pulley from a junk yard or on majestic honda- also 4 ribbed for the 92-95, I have not figured out which belt to use, so if anyone can clue me in on this, that would help. If not I will let you guys know in a few weeks when I drop the motor in.

Dyno #'s up!
Here is the hp and tq graph. decent #'s, but was hoping for higher. (who doesn't though ) We got over 160 out of it, then tuned it back a little to be safe.

hp and a/f. kinda bumpy .

hp and boost level. nice and flat at 8lbs.

now what needs to be done in order to get to the goal of 200whp? besides the obv higher boost.

Higher boost, porting, and a cam gear.

airmass header, JIC exaust. I will be upgrading to a Kami header this winter. Then I'll run a 2.5inch test pipe into the JIC exaust. do you think a cam, cam gear and springs/retainers would help any? or should I look into having the head port/polished?

Kami and a test pipe will help out massivly, and a cam gear, and a d15b7vtec cam.
