i need to know what diameter the 10psi pulley is because im going to CNC machine one.. most likely i will upgrade it to a 4-rib and put some sort of belt retaining edge on the outside. I will be making a recess in my shock tower for it as well.... anyone know how much clearance i have between the shock and the shock tower?

i wish this thread had more constant discussions and frequent visitors.. there are a lot of issues to talk about and there is so little information available. I would also love to see some more pictures and videos of peoples setups!

here's a short vid of mine

10psi is 3.2 supercharger pulley. i think if i use a supercharger pulley from a older kit it will line up so i dont need shimming. and company makes custom ones for 95

I get between 9-10 psi. I will be stepping up to about 12 once I get a new pulley.

12 nice. ya i to order that 3.2 supercharger pulley in 4 rib d16z6. i was wondering what i would have to do to make this thing a 4 rib belt? so it would prevent sliping? and what size belt would i use for a 3.2 s/c pulley and stock d16a6 crank pulley?

also high compression is great for this supercharger. if i ever build my dream motor this is ideal setup going for d16a6 port/polish,cam,ti valve train, stroker/bore to 1.8 11to1 with 15psi boost m62, 1000cc injectors, lht intercooler, sleeved, plus 50 shot. should put down 350+ easy with amazing tq but idk just a dream build. thats why im starting off slow with stock internal d16a6 on 8-10psi and also my pockets are empty.but if sponsers come through expect to see a crazy build

My 1.6 litre 10.5:1 D16A6block/D16Z6 head M62 setup with 23lbs of boost put 222whp to the dyno. There's lots that needs to be done to get them even close to 300whp. The nitrous would probably put you over the top, but not without lots of other work.

I'll be boring to 77.5mm on my next block (lost this one on the dyno), and getting lots of porting done as well as bigger valves and a better cam (was using the Crower 63441ZT turbo cam) before I visit the dyno again.

Show me! I've never seen or heard of those numbers coming from a JRSC setup, wether intercooled or not, unless there's a 150 shot of nitrous in there too. Even then... The highest non-nitrous numbers I've seen with the JRSC kits are right at the 300whp mark.

Yes, there are some things holding my setup back. I addressed most of them in my previous post.

im not sure on part numbers for the spark plug.

yes there are guys making 400whp on a turbo setup. but if you look at the way turbo and SC are tuned you'll see the diff. turbo's alway make more power. and 2 you say you on a budget. whats the cost of a fuel pump vs rebuilding a motor if the stock pump fails or cant keep up with fuel demarnds

i understand if fuel pump fails but how many honda fuel pumps go bad? i no turbos make more power on d series. i was just saying if it can flow enough to make 400whp a s/c kit shouldnt be anything. but i was talking with tuner and he says same thing about fuel pump 20years old should be replaced but idk what fuel pump is plug and play. i hear fuel pump is easy but id hate to remove the tank and have wrong parts or missing some. and what fuel pump would you suggest?

I am wondering what other JRSCed d-series people are seeing for IATs. I know most people are lowering temps with W/M injection but only when boosting. My IATs are high just driving (example: ambient temps in the 60s my IATs will climb to 190s, 70s put me over 200 and summer temps here climb into the 100s). Just curious about what others are seeing for unboosted temps. I daily my car about 85 miles per day and I'm at 70-75 mph and 3200-3300 rpms most of the way. When I slow down below 2000 rpms the temps do drop into the 160-180 range. I know I have some tuning left to do but I'm not sure what could be adjusted to lower these temps. I am monitering temps with the Hondata S300 I installed when I put the super charger in my CRX in January so I don't have a reference point without the charger.

Please list IATs boosted and unboosted with ambient temps while driving 30+ miles in the 3000-3500 rpm range.

I would love to do the LHT upgrade, but I know they have stopped working on d-series manifolds.

Yes I have read this entire thread and the other JRSC thread while I was gathering parts last year and if this was covered I don't remember it, but the information I took notes on made the install pretty straight forward without "surprises".

How much boost are you running? Have you recently checked the supercharger oil?

I have no reference for sohc but summer temps got into the lower 120 area cursing and 185 max at 7 psi.

Between 8 & 9 psi, the snout was rebuilt(bearings and oil) before I got it. 3.4 snout pulley and JDM D15B Vtec crank pully same as a D16Z6 crank pulley.

Are you sure your bypass valve is working? Those off-boost temps seem really really high.

just order a walbro 255 specifically for your car and you will have everything , and iam assuming you have a EF or crx . can you not get to the fuel pump by removing the lower part of the rear seats and removing that silver cover like you can in Eg's and Ek's ? i honestly don't know much of pre 92 hondas

The only 88-91 Civic product that has the under seat access panel to the fuel pump is the RT4WD Wagon. All the others require the tank to be dropped. There is a panel under the seat, but it is to access the fuel level sender only.
