I tune to 12-11.5:1 @ 9 psi. I believe timing will kill your engine before running where you were, what psi was the 12.4:1 at?
7-8 i have the stock z6 crank pulley and the 3.4 on the sc. All i can say is installing this kit on a 1.5 block makes for a angry night. Damn alternator power touching the sc. Well i will be tuning on it tomorrow. Anybody have a s300 file I could take a look at. I am having a problem right befor boost starts building it goes super rich. Also It was 13.1 to 12.4
Im about to ditch the kit problems after problems. Not with the kit just with my luck with other stuff. Water pump gear came off and got lucky with no bent valves. Then tonight belt jumped a rib and ruined another gatorback belt.
So, I am obviously new here. I have a stock 1995 Honda Del Sol SI D16Z6. It was rebuilt last summer, and now has around 8,000 miles on the new engine. But I have been craving a little more power, maybe off the start a bit, and on the freeway if I want to pass someone. I mostly drive in the 2-3k rpm range. As a daily driver, reliability is very important to me, and with the price of gas, I want to keep the gas mileage good. I am currently getting around 35mpg highway, and would not want to lose too much of that. Should I go SC or TC? I am stock internals except for a JDM cam, which I was told boosts me from 125hp to around 130hp (not at the wheel). I would like to get around 175-200hp, prefer closer to 200hp (but again does not need to be at the wheel hp). Just wondering if I should go SC or TC.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I have a few other questions. As I mentioned before, my engine is a stock D16Z6 from a 95 Honda Del Sol SI. I understand the Jackson Racing is the only one made for my engine. But there are other models out there. Are there any type of adapter plates out there that would allow say a B16 model to work with mine? And how expensive are parts, just incase part is mising, like pulleys, fuel rails, etc?
I recently purchased a 91 Civic Wagon with the following setup:
D16A6
JacksonRacing Super charger
DSM 440 injectors
zdyne ecu
kamikaze header
cat delete straight pipe
K&N drop in filter
CRX SI transmission
exedy stage 2 clutch
I runs great. It has the ZDYNE gold. I don't have the cable or the software for tuning. Does anyone know where I can aquire those things?

Also, supercharger.com sells replacement parts. You can get the part numbers from the BOM pdf in the link above. Though I've found that if they don't also make the part for an existing kit, the part is discontinued.
I been looking for a while but by some weird chance does anyone have a Alt. bracket for a Y8 kit they are willing to sale? I don't know if family didn't ship it or I never got one with my kit that I bought used but JRSC doesn't make the part anymore. Any one help me out?
I talked to Blaine a couple of months ago and he said they haven't had any for some time. I will contact him again and see if they made a run of them because enough people started asking for it. Thanks for the help ...
to ensure there is no confusion I am talking about the cast iron alt. bracket that attaches to the block not the allum. one that has the tensioner on it.
I will update when i get the new setup going.
Okay I got a question for you guys that actually run the super chargers and daily then on the D's...
I got a buddy, who thinks he knows everything, that says that the Jackson Racing Super Charger for the d-series isn't good. He says it makes the car run to rich even with a tune..that didn't sound right to me and I wanted to make sure with you guys on here that actually own one.

Your friend is a tard lol. Tuning dictates your air fuels. If you wanted it to run rich you could, but most people do not lol.
Anyway, can anyone help me verify which kit this is? I was told its a a6/z6 kit but just looking for verification from the guys who know them best. Pulley has 3 ribs

Finished up my d16z6 supercharged civic wagon. It's the stock jrsc kit. It's a pretty fun daily driver with the automatic trans, power steering, and a/c.
Man i have a 98 civic sedan with a d16y8 and automatic. Im buying a jrsc and i am being told by a lot of people that i have to swap to 5 spd because of no way to tune my car. is there anyway anyone can help? i need a decent unit i can buy and learn on and tune on my own. im rebuild the motor maybe .020 over with vitara pistons and all new gaskets and bearings and rings, and a aftermarket header and exhaust. I can handle it all except the tuning cause im stuck, i want to keep it automatic cause people just dont build many automatics like what i want. any help is appreciated
