I'm looking for an 8psi pulley for the D-series supercharger, anyone know where I can find one new or used? Will the B-series one work? I have the standard 6 psi pulley that came with the new kit, and I'd like to maybe run more boost.

What D-series engine are you using?

If you're using the D16A6 kit, you should have a 3.4" boost pulley. You can run a D16Y8 Crank pulley with the 3.4" boost pulley to make around 8lbs..

I think that kit has a 4" boost pulley on it...but I'm not sure.

Call Keith at Moss motors...he'll talk your ear off and tell you everything you need to know.

The 4-rib upgraded boost pulleys are easier to come by than the 3 rib pulleys for the D16A6 kit.

Hard to say...depends on the shape of the engine. General rule of thumb is about 10hp per lb of boost but it depends on too many factors to say for sure.

I'm pretty sure the D16z6 and y8 setups are identical...either way, the only difference would be in the size of the boost pulley.

My setup

D16Y7
Stegemeier Ported M45
DSM 450's
6.75" Crank Pulley + 3.4" S/C Pulley (14,500 S/C RPM...just right )
AEM W/I Injection
P28 w/Crome

Car is running on basemap right now. I have belt alignment gremlins to sort out before I get it tuned. I'm also looking into getting a Bisimoto cam and Kamikaze header for this setup.

Call Moss Motors and tell them what you need. They'll pull up the parts list and should be able to order one for you.

If you're able to fit the FPR in that location, you won't need the adapter.

I've never seen any directions for the install...what are you getting caught up on. I'm very familiar with the install and I'd be more than happy to help you.
