Sweet.. Pics brotha.. I can't wait to hear how this thing does.
I was thinking the other day. why would adding the lsd not instantly decrease 60ft times? Hybrids got much slower which seemed really odd to me. </TD></TR></TABLE>

my setup will be pretty close to the same, although I'm moving from a GSR tranny to a b16 tranny with lsd. but i'll have teh same power and same slicks. my next event is oct 2nd if i can get everything together by then. my old best time was 7.79@92 in the 1/8th at 12psi.

a properly setup and weighted front suspension/wheels will get same 60 ft times with/without LSD unit.
I only added the Kaaz to keep from exploding trannys.
1.831 60 foot with open stock diff
1.816 60 foot with KAAZ LSD
close enough that traction prep plays a major part.

my best 60ft so far is a 1.79 on an open diff.
my secret, preload clutch, 7100 off 2-step, drop and go. hope 1st doesn't spin that bad with slicks and no lift second.

While this is true for the most part, that is only a fraction of the advantage.
Most of the people here are putting lsds in their street cars, which is where they
really shine. Rain/snow driving for one. Also anyone who's making any decent
power knows how useless it is trying to get on the gas while exiting a corner..
can you say understeer? LSDs help the car feel more stable and predictible overall.
Always worth it IMO. Its really hard to describe to someone how much better the
car feels, but once you drive with one it will put a smile on your face guaranteed.

(blah blah blah... the LSD is in the transmission, engine bay painted - see sig - just postwhoring until I can afford to spring my spindles from the machine shop and make the car run)

I like it sitting in my transmission, collecting dust, strapped for funds for the rest of the parts I need, not at all. It's like wanting to be evil, but continuously having to tell myself, "soon." Maybe you know what I'm talking about?
Damn hurricanes killed my income for the last two weeks. This time of the year, I should be living off the fat of the land

Oh god, that's a scary thought...
For those of you who don't understand - here's Caveman:

We keep catching him looking at, talking to, going out with ugly women. Like, nasty ugly. Misshapen, even. We try to talk him out of it, but... direct quote: "What you don't understand is... I don't care."

front sway bar links, add at the spacer sleeve to preload which side (usuallu right!) needs a little more traction. 2 washers is usually enough.
Just like "adding a round of wedge" in NASCAR terms. All you are doing is changing the corner weighting.
Racing RC cars (10th scale oval) taught be alot about fine tuning chassis for free.
The little tricks do add up.

Everyone forgets about the .063" coat-hanger t-bolts and bic pen couplers.
Anyway for those of you who have already bought coilovers, you can save your $.15 worth of washers by cranking up the left rear to load the right front.
