that's BS if they're charging a higher price for the same product, just a different application that doesn't affect production costs any...still half the price of a Quaife though ...i can definately see the price of these going up if they prove to be reliable and become popular.i'm sure they figure they can charge half the price of a Quaife(or even more) and it's still so much of deal people will buy it.

I will have one of these units very soon for side by side testing with the Quaife. I will share the good and the bad with everyone.

let us know earl, it would be a steal if it held up and performed as well as a quaife

Earl....you gonna deal these if they're quality? Hook us HT people up with a group buy for the GSR piece.

i look forward 2 earl's testing . I do know that tom from camp1320.com is going to sell them 2. He has a friend that works @ obx . All i know is that the retail directly from the the ebay obx dealer tuningdepot said the retail price is 450-459 its could be more could be less but the 450-459 is what the price is going to . it has not yet been released . its supposed to come out before sema !

Maybe it's already been said...but any one care to tell me why a B16 LSD won't fit in a GSR casing?

I thought the only difference was the GSR Diff bearings are the two piece kind, which can be changed to the one piece kind easily.

i would also think that all b engine tranny differential can be swapped. except for the ITR which i think has a bigger bearing. there is in ebay selling the obx for 360. most of them [ 1 seller] sells it for 400.

gsr ring gear has a different ring gear bolt pattern than the b16/ls
That is the difference

So...if one wanted to bad enough, they could use a B16 LSD, B16 Ring Gear, and B16 Countershaft in a GSR tranny.
