Earl, maybe since the your OBX LSD writeup was deleted from here, you could post that same writeup for all of use interested in it, on your website, or someone else who may own a site and would be willing to host it on there. I'd love to read about this product and how it performs from a knowledgable source. and I personally don't give a damn if you sell them yourself or not as I think you've proven yourself over the years here on H-T not to be a shady person only in it to make a buck. Rather, you've given a ton of info to a ton of people, non-customers included.

I've taken too much abuse over the OBX vs Quaife deal so I just quit talking about them...at least until I find out who deleted my original thread and why it was deleted.

I looked through all the old server backups but none of them go far enough back.

It's possible that it was just lost... not deleted. We lost several hundred threads due to some disk failure problems... oops. But I can't be sure.

Hi

I've installed this thing last week, drove 150km to the track and this is what happend.
http://www.we-todd-did-racing....D.jpg
I had pretty much trouble spinning the driver side wheel, because my car is very heavy on that side comparing to the passinger side. Even if I play with the steering wheel I hardly get the driver side wheel burning in a 2nd speed burnout.
On this pic you can see that the wheel with more resistance (driver side) is smokin more. So more traction.
More on...you can feel the LSD workin in corners.
Overall....a pretty good steal.

Oh, I didn't race with slicks tough..just some Nitto's. Car makes about 300whp on a stock B16 on 14psi (60trim T04E). Best time 12.5 on those Nitto's.

Wasnt me...that sucks that thread is gone now. That did have some great info, and as I recall, you gave some fixes on how to get that OBX a bit closer to "Quaife-spec".

Oh well, time for another writeup

If Scion uses them, they must be good!
