yes verry nice pics !!
people im going to begin on a new project but i need some info on ECU wiring and whit kind of ECU it original used etc. can some of you guys take a look at it ?? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=689071.
if i have it done i want to do a hybrid conversion on the engine it self and boost it. so i have to know some options...

No worries
I'm trying a new bin that seems to be working without hiccups so I'll keep going on that for a couple of days before posting if it solved the CEL problem or not. I don't want to ***** up the thread and turn this into the 'raene show'.
But thanks for the response
I must say that Uberdata has been changing my life for the better... I just got done socketing my brother's PW0 last night and we're going to be using either TurboEdit or, more likely, BRE for some tuning.
I had no idea this stuff was so easy. So a big THANK YOU to everyone in the DIY rom tuning sector! When you can get a programmable ECU for cheaper than an adjustable FPR you know a) a lot of smart people are doing a lot of things right, b) you'd have to be silly to not jump on this or other DIY tuning options!

has anyone sucsessfully increased the engine idle speed using uberdata? seems to be kinda stubborn.....
which way and how much should you slide the IACV adjustment if you want to get it to idle about 950-1000rpm?

i wish it were that easy.......doesnt seem to work......
dunno...maybe im not moving the IACV slider enough?

I'd just like to take a minute to say if you're driving a B16 and you're starting off with any basemap but this one... you need to switch. I've been tweaking off this map for a couple of days now and it just drives so perfectly stock. I love it! Thank you slashDEVslashNULL for the .bin. However I think it's running leaner on the topend than it needs to and I'm also leaning out around the VTEC x-over (I've been tweaking only the lo-cam fueling maps in my versions). Gawd I love Uberdata

Idle is almost flawless. VERY occasionally it idles ~200 high, but I have the idle set screw maladjusted and the fuel pressure down right now. I'm tweaking it back so it runs perfectly and then I'm going to begin fiddling.
I was a bit worried about that map, I found out my narrow band feed wire was loose and I threw a code and went into limp mode on the unaltered jdm p72 map, but the one I made (with b16 values), didn't throw a code. Of course the failure was kind of intermittent, I used a size too big spade connectors for the gauge wire I had.
I want to disconnect the o2 wire and see if it throws a code, it should - unless something funny was changed in the bin by crome. My odb2 ecu also gave me a cel but not limp mode, I thought it was iat because of the one flash of the cel, but I replaced the iat sensor and was still there - checked the connection on the o2 sensor and it came off in my hand --- anyway enough of my rant - back to the raene show

changing the target idle is a bit of a pita. You need to advance the timing some around the area of the new idle, and the IACV slider has to be in the right spot or it will hunt or idle too low.

I just PayPal'd him myself, it worked fine for me... I haven't tried emailing him though.
I wonder if he'll send me the 3bar version... I don't think I specifically asked for it... haha. I hope he'll remember me when he distributes the next version of Uberdata. I'm not even turbo'd so I hardly need 3bar support but if it's got more features I want it... I like fiddling
/dev/null, I don't see why it would throw a code with the O2 sensor wire disconnected... maybe if I get bored I'll try it tonight
I mean, the ECU just throws out 5v through that wire, and then measures the voltage drop through the circuit, correct? So if the wire's disconnected, it sees a 5V drop and considers the mixture to be really rich since O2 sensor resistance decreases nonlinearly as temperature increases and O2 content increases.
I know the PR3 ECUs won't throw an O2 code unless you're coasting down in gear with zero throttle for long periods of time - 10s plus, so that the fuel injectors have shut off. In that case it expects to see at least some indication from the sensor of a lean condition. I actually drove for about a month with no O2 sensors connected and only threw the O2 code maybe 3x. Once I figured out when the ECU could tell it was disconnected I just never let the ECU see those conditions.

thanks for the e-mail.........i will e-mail him shortly unless i can get an answer from you guys.
would i benefit from donating to get a upgraded version of uberdata even I'm I'm not boosted? what other features does the upgraded version have? would a N/A P75 see any other options that might be useful? like what?
I'm sure the answer might be in this huge never ending thread but i think i would go insane if i had to go through every page to find out...
thanks again guys

Yes you would benefit, by supporting a great program and making future versions possible.

Disconnecting the O2 sensor will throw a code 41 for heater O2. Even if the map is setup to run in open loop(no O2). I have been trying to edit a map in hex commands but I'm still having a little trouble with getting the ECU to skip the O2 heater check, also not sure what I need to do to the checksum code.
Anyone have a map they edited to work without the O2 heater detection in closed loop only?
