Hello everyone,

Im thinking of buying a 1gen CRX-AS swaped from a ZC1 to a B20A1 engine.
I have a (OBDpre-0) ECU ( PJ1-752 ) and wiring.
And i have the B20A1 engine from a prelude ( Dont know what year but its a 2.0 16V ) with the wiring of the prelude.


Can someone help me with some info about the:
connection between <PJ1ecu><ZCwiring><B20wiring>&lt ;B20engine>

or/and with some info of what kind of ECU original was used in the prelude 2.0 16v ?

You won't find too many people with a swap like this that can help you. What you are trying to do is swap in a motor that will not bolt in without custom modifications: cutting, welding, etc. and not to mention it's not that great of a motor anyway. If you notice, they make very little performance parts for the B20A/B21A 88-91 Prelude engines. You would be much better off working with the ZC that's in the CRX or going to a more popular B series motor that works: B16A/B, B18C, B18A/B, B20B/Z (CRV). I'm not trying to persuade you from what you want to do, but the gains doesn't justify the work involved.

Thnx for your info but,
As you can see in the picture from the engine bay from above, the engine is already in i just have to rewire the wiring from ECU to Engine.

And realy want to know if a ZC ecu wil work on this engine ?

I would even consider using a PM6 ECU. Stuff the B20 maps into the PM6 code, and then use one of the community editors to tune it and run boost.

im checking it right now

i have got a PJ1-752 and a PJ5 Ecu ( B20A1 ecu ). but i like your idea of using a PM6 Ecu with b20 maps for the boost part.

but do you have some kind of info for me about the wiring from the ZC ecu to the PM6 ecu ??

my options right now are : Using a PJ1 with a higher fule pressure.
using the PJ5 with stock wiring and use some kind of Hack when im going to boost.

or using a PM6 and set that for B20 and later on boost.. but first who has done this kind of wiring and can give me some info or a direction to search..
