newest uberdata released
in the picture above is the atmospheric pressure sensor removed? and if it is does that effect anything ? do i just need to disable it in the bin?
T-RO how much are you selling them for? im just asking but i will most likely just buy it the same time i buy the chip and just get everything at once and from one place.

Then ******* go for it. I'm sitting on the H22 maps spliced into P75/72 code I have. You stunnas can go for it if you want it so bad. I've given enough.

The cheap air/fuel gauge goes to stoich when this happens. I was thinking it might be a bad wire somewhere in my conversion harness... anyone else have this happen?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I think I've figured out what's wrong... either a bad soldering joint on the PCB or a loose connection between the ZIF and the chip. It started bogging at all throttle %s. Then the solid CEL came on today while driving to work - that sucked
3M Econo-ZIF is what I've got. It doesn't have a locking lever arm; you use a screwdriver to tighten/loosen the chip. Is this thing known to be sucky?

J. Davis was kind enough to give the rest of us leeches some new base maps, I am trying to get them up on my site but I am waiting to here from b94cast, as it is his server (I don't have access, he was nice and offered to host it for me)
"2barAtlee is D16Z6 w/ Greddy kit, GM 2 bar MAP. It doesn't bog, but
still runs very rich. Should be a safe baseline for SOHC VTEC with GM
2 bar for anything up to, but not bigger than, straight T3.
The other Atlee tune is for stock MAP sensor, same car as above, idle
is pretty good, set up for Y8 IACV (like 2 bar tune above).
The bearboy tune is the same as the Atlee tune w/ stock MAP with a 5%
less fuel in the part throttle maps and 5% more fuel under boost. It
is a better basemap for SOHC VTEC that is not running the Greddy kit."
2barAtlee12.bin
atlee12.bin
bearboySOHCVTECBOOST.bin
They are on here until I can put them elsewhere.

Wow, I thought I was immune to people pissing in my wheaties, but when no less than three people gang up on a guy and defile his breakfast cereal... !!!
Frankly I am a little annoyed and disgusted with the whole situation in re basemaps. You want the H22 basemap? Well, stunnas, the fuel and ignition values you need are stored in .xls files that are easy to find on PGMFI. You just copy over the low cam stuffs, and interpolate for the high cam stuffs into Uberdata, or Crome, or what have you. It's secretarial work... bitch work. Man up, do your own.

From what I understood, they were more talking about using a P13 ECU than a chipped P28 or P72 or what have you... is the code even run-able on the P13? Or could you PNP, say, a P28 in a Prelude? IMO that's what they're asking.
Thnx for the bins J.Davis ant thnx for sharing them with us J.Davis and /dev/null.
And for quade : the man says that it is on there ask around search some on pgmfi.org and you will find it
Sccs !!
i will go and search over there right now

Are the hex address's the same for JDM and USDM ECU's as far as knock sensor, ELD, etc? If not does anyone have the hex address's for those in a USDM ECU?
Thanks guys!

Good luck searching for attachments, the phorum software is fukt and won't display any of them. Check your email, if you're feeling spunky.

Well I got my order in from JDR.com today. They get a
for customer service and another
for shipping fast.
The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the DIP sockets I got from them. I think you can get better ones at radioshack.
29C256 Chips:
74HC373 Chips:
28pin ZIF socket:
.1uf capacitors
1k ohm resistor
28pin sockets...I really didn't like these and liked radioshacks way better. The last picture is a picture of a 40pin socket I got from radioshack and cut down.
I'll give you guys the item numbers for all this.
-28-654-10 - ZIF socket
-.01UF - Capacitors - double check this item number, i may have ordered the wrong ones.
-29C256-12PC - 29C256 Chip
-R1.0K - Resistors
-74HC373 - 74HC373 Chip
-IDP28 - 28pin socket - better off going to radio shack i think.
Let me know if you guys have any questions or can double check that one part number.

OK I'm sorry to keep asking RETARDED questions, but this thread on the phorum makes me think I'm screwing something up majorly...
Evil Auto thread
I opened the .bin files, edited the raw code to mirror the changes I wanted and saved them again. Then I opened them in Uberdata, did my edits to launch control, whatever, then saved those, then burned the chip.
But the thread indicates that a hexeditor saves in hexadecimal format instead of binary. Is it screwing something up for me to do what I did? Do I have to "Save As" the .bin files into .bin format or is it just saving it in hex format with a .bin extension?
Please, please help... TIA

Do the two editors have the same amount of resolution? Uberdata has 5 columns in boost. WHat does this have? If not 5 then it might be messing up the values when you put them in uberdata. Unless I am totally missunderstanding your post.
