well, the 5467 change in code got rid of the CEL... I burned a new chip at the office just to see, car FIRED RIGHT UP, and ran GREAT while cold... Car got almost to operating temp, i backed out of the driveway, got to the stoplight, waited, car began to load up and run rich... car was now up to temp... turned right at the light, gave it a slight gas, and car died... coasted into the driveway, and the chip is toast... must have been a bad chip... i think it was anyways... I'll stick to the good chips and have my buddy help me burn them...

I'm learning... Damn me... I was gonna order my pocket programmer & emulator, but instead i'm going out tonight to buy a PS2 w/ Socom online, and an Athlon XP chip to go with my new Athlon MB I just paid $15 for...

3 important questions:

1) does uberdata run off these maps at all times or does the ecu still go to closed loop?

2) what is the highest value you can put in a fuel table before you max out your duty cycle?

3) i've heard from a few peeps that fuel cut isn't too dangerous, if this is the case, do we still need to pull timing and dump fuel? how much?

apparently, in crome, the high cam map (col) changes both low and high in the table, but I went and did both low and high in the dialog anyway. One by one arg. took forever, but I now have a b16 bin that runs on edm ecus W00t.

Runs in uberdata and crome, knock, baro, injector test - all disabled! NO CEL! IF anyone wants it hit me up.

i just noticed that when i change the average fuel efficiancy, it only effects the low cam fuel table? it fills in the boost values on the high table the first time i apply the AFE setting but i cant change the high table and also, it sets it to the same values no matter what i set the efficiancy too.

Hey, can you send it to me? I'll put it on we-todd-did or host it somewhere so everyone can download the EDM B16 bin raeneshadowAThotmailDOTcom.

I just tested my AT equipped USDM ECU with the P28 bin, the P30 bin. the JDM P72 bin (unmodified) and a P28 bin I modified for launch control and VTEC engagement, on a Civic Si/EX. Works great Unfortunately has a CEL that I think is related to the knock sensor as I never disabled it in the code before burning the chips. 1 month until I'm running Uberdata on my own car... woohoo

I don't know why but I think that bin runs a bit lean, I am about to go do some pulls and log, I might just use the b18c4 map, which has more fuel and less timing - so I guess it will be safer.

If anyone wants the EDM B16 bin you can download it from We-Todd-Did-Racing, and make sure to right-click and save.

Now I know the stock map for the gsr has the timing way too retarded to run the h22 smoothly, so I'm wondering if anyone has made a ROM with the p13 map on it or an adjusted p72 map to run the h22 nicely? The ones I have found for the p13 will not open in uberdata correctly anyone got any help for me?

I'm not sure, I found it on pgmfi's "phorum" its just named "P13_US-stock.bin," I have a few of them actually, a XS engineering one and what i think is a Skunk rom. None of these work in uberdata, they open but the values are all definitely wrong.

would someone who knows what they are doing look at that b16 bin I made and tell me if it looks okay? I think it may run lean but I don't see how, I have a b16a2 and the maps I got from a usdm p30. I haven't got a chance to log yet but I will post as soon as I do.
I just recalibrated my wideband, but I can't do it until tomorrow.
Someone please take a look at it and tell me if it looks okay. TIA.

All I have to say is DOH! I went tonight over to my buddy's... we broke apart my buddy's Shadow Block, and drank, then examined the pistons, drank some more, then talked, drank some more, then decided to burn some chips... I made some ROM's in Uberdata, went, burned them, and put them in a protector, made 1 chip using Crome, and then headed home...

I was on my way home when i realized, ****! I forgot to edit the 5467 knock sensor code! So the only one I dont have the knock sensor on is the one i made in crome... But they should all work... just some with CEL's... Gonna try them in the morning... This is my last chance before vegas..

Hey, can you send your bin to red_sir@telus.net? I like to compare it to the one I'm using for my b16. Thanks.

sent - but you know raene hosted it, the link is up the page, in case anyone else wants it too. If the link doesn't work I will be happy to send it out.

What bin are you using now? Tell me how they look when you compare them. For some reason the usdm p30 maps are leaner than the p30erm baseline, and the p30 erm baseline is richer than a jdm p72 map - which is a b18c4. weird.

Yep, I know raene hosted them, but he hosted it as a jpg file and being the computer noob I am, I didn't know how to make it into a bin file.

I'm using the p30-ermbaseline bin right now and it does look a lot richer in VTEC than the map you sent me. But with the p30-ermbaseline, I was running really rich after adjusting for 450cc injectors so I don't think your bin is too lean.

I copied the maps straight out of a stock usdm p30 - the reason I thought it might be lean is I had my wideband plugged in and it read 16 then 17 etc around idle with me starting and stopping the car in between, I recalibrated and I'm going to do some pulls tomarrow, but I am glad to hear that it looks okay.

Keep me posted. My idle is funny also when it is cold then it stablizes - does yours do that?

I've had the opposite problems with my idle. After following the instructions in the FAQ to make a basemap from the bins, my idle was as rich as 9.5:1! I haven't had any problems with fluctuating idle though. It's stable, but high, at about 900rpms.

I still have stock injectors (not boosted yet) I probably have other issues (I threw a code 10 today on my stock ecu (obd2) anyway - let me know how that map works out.

I've changed the file so you can just download it now.

Well, tried the chips...

#1. Made with UberData at 58% multiplication w/ stockgsr.bin
Idled good, but still running REALLY rich at idle
#2. Made with Uberdata at 55% multiplication w/ stockgsr.bin
Idled good, but still was running really rich at idle
#3. Made with Crome using Uberdata StockGSR.bin... Can that be done? I realized when I put the chip in that it probably didnt work... turned car on, no CEL... started car, got instant CEL, and car didnt want to idle... I think its b/c i used an uberdata bin on Crome, right? I'm headin to Vegas for SEMA... hopefully my mind will clear and when i get back i can get it right finally...

anyone got any ideas on what I can do to get the h22 running on a p72 with the stock p72 map modified for the h22?

id just use the p72 file as a basemap for hte p13 and tune it. no basemaps are going to NOT require tuning so if this is a worry for you... dont boost your car

the worry for me is the ignition timing, could someone suggest a sort of baseline to retard from since the map is already pretty retarded for my engine, it's an issue because I haven't seen any concrete evidence of anyone doing it, or anyone talking about it at least in this thread or any really on the pgmfi forum for that matter.
