no thanks, i made one last nite. just have to finish wiring up the wideband / narrowband o2 circuit. and i am going to be testing this afternoon!!!
btw, i figured out how to disable the o2 heater check in P72 roms!!!
at location 2315 change to 03 50 23
its my first honda ecu hack. i am so proud!
i needed to figure this out since i dont have a stock o2 sensor, but i do provide the o2 signal to the ecu. i'll probably add this to wiki

Great
I was sick of clamping the stock o2 to the pipe. lol

i should be able to test it later today, let me know if you try it before i do.

success! my **** works!!!
still running my 310cc injectors, took out some fuel from stock but still rich, narrowband circuit works, ecu leaned out to 14.7:1 within minutes.
throwing a code 81...which i have no idea what the hell that is, it throws that code automatically, even without a rom plugged in?
i dont know what it could be. only thing is that this is an auto ecu and the car is manual. i guess i should change out those resistors to do the auto/man conversion...

what if the ecu is bad. nobodys heard of code 81?! its 8 long flashes and 1 short flash, what the heck is that? as i said it happens the moment u turn the ecu on, rom or not.
its apparent to me now that the CEL control is not handled by the 66k processor. its handled externally in another chip. something is wrong with my ecu

did you try changing this back and using your stock o2 sensor? seems like thats the only thing it could be too me. go back to what you know and see if it is still jacked.

that cant be the problem.
the cel comes on even when there is NO ROM in the ECU!
its not the code. its something hardware related.

i dont buy that story. if open circuit, then no current. thanks for the advice tho. more research needed.

so, my CEL aside, the issue of tuning is the next big hurdle.
for part throttle, i really would like to get a good tune in place.
has anyone disabled closed loop o2 feedback, i do not want the engine adjusting fuel trim while i am tuning part throttle. i want to get a really good basemap dialed in thats pretty close to 14.7:1 all over the map. i think this is really important cause the fuel trim is going to take out fuel if you're too rich in one area and then you'll be too lean in another area of the map. i think thats how people get intermittent hesistation, then the fuel richens up in the lean area then you go back to the rich area and you're too rich. i dont want to get caught in that mess.
so, anyone know how to disable o2 feedback?
Joe

To everyone that is using the jdm int 269 bin.
it still has the speed limit on 112 MPH.
so if you dont want it you must deselect it or raise it.
( i just saw it my self )

disconnect your o2 sensor from the ecu.

i need a to know if anyone has run like 20lb with 750cc injector and using uberdata???
email me at AROD10@aol.com if you have a bin that i can look at

isnt that going to throw a CEL? hmm i guess that would work. as long as the fuel trim values stay zeroed out...hmmm.
