newest uberdata released
Thanks. Have to say I haven't missed this place much, it was nice to unplug and relax and not worry about kids being misled by some of the people who strut around here.
Time to catch up on the PGMFI backlog, and other such things.

and are you thinking of anti-lag on a street car? its pretty hard on your manifold and turbo....no way i'd do it on my car

Thnx for the warning. i tought it was some little experiment in version 1.0

ahha so....
ahha so....
Guys ran into a problem trying to tune.. It appears that now I am unable to get the program to respond in the ECU.. To any of you out there using the pocket programmer which file type are you using? Binary or Hex? Never mind I found the type. It depends on How I save the bin.. Which = Binary..
Ok, here's what I ran into while trying to tune my car. Uberdata requires for the C51 and C52 locations on the ecu to be jumped in order for the ECU to recognize the program. I find this odd because I have a chipped ecu that does not require for those to be jumped. When I program a chip using Chrome it works, when I use Uberdata the car throws a check engine light. Does anyone know the reason why Uberdata requires these two locations to be jumped?

Is there any new word on this new urberdata program? I have an EDM p28 and I dont want to have to mess with a p72 map. The new urberdata should have no problems with the edm ecu's correct?

Sorry, you misunderstood me... I took a stock GSR program, set it up for RC 440's, and the maps are STILL pig rich...
But now that I think about it, that program was rich, because my math wasn't right... time to remake those maps...

seriously... just multiply all the values by 240/450 and call it a day. It worked first time for me with no flaws what so ever. Taking you down another 20% puts you near 370-90CC territory which there is no way in hell is "pig rich".

Here is how I did my setup...
Open Map
Ignition Retard 1 degree (Hit Apply)
Set Fuel Efficiency to 120% (Hit apply)
set my rev limiters, FTL, vtec, etc...
set TPS Enrichment using [(240/440)*100]+5 which brings me to 59.54... Putting 59 into the TPS Enrichment... This left the car running and boosting, but PIG rich...
I then made another map the same way, only went into the Fuel Low and Fuel Hi, went down to the MATH table, punched in 80%, selected the entire grid, and hit apply. Did that in both the low & hi table... That puts me at 440cc approximate fuel minus 20%, correct? Because this still left me PIG rich.
Also, everytime I redo a map, I start from scratch because of the extrapolation process... As where if I take the OEM Figures, subtract 20% from them, then its too rich, then I take another 10% out, and its not 10% from stock, but 10% from the 80%, which is a different extraction number... Understand what i mean?
