He means 'do you have to scale the ignition?' I believe. No you don't, just set what you want retarded per pound of boost, like one degree, and it will populate the timing maps for you. Then just fine tune.

Just be glad you didn't post in the Where did you get your engine? thread in the Hybrid forum.

THE THREAD WAS STARTED IN 2001 PEOPLE, YOU CAN STOP POSTING NOW! 21 PAGES OF 'I bought my engine from Osaka' is plenty!

Any succesful Uberdata users in Houston, Austin, or any other surrounding communities that would be willing to help me tune sometime in the near future(hopefully). I just cant justify 500 bones for all the stuff plus and wideband 02 as opposed to just saving an extra month and getting dyno tuned with hondata. I mean eventually im gonna go hondata but it would be nice to get a working car for 100 bucks in parts plus a little extra for someone to help me tune until i get enough for hondata. Anyway if anyone is interested in helping me out lemme know and we can work out the money and what not. Oh and i dont even have a full kit yet so this wouldnt have to be to terribly soon im just trying to work out the financial side of this project so i dont go broke. Thank you.

I think you would just see fuel cut as soon as you started moving. Are you guys hoping it disables it?

Been busy with school, but I should be "in the car" sometime this week, we'll see if I remember.

But wouldn't the car fall on it's face and not even be able to idle...

i know a lot of you guys have been running 450cc injectors with uberdata. what kind of boost would 310cc injectors support?

d16z6
greddy kit
chipped p28

do you think 310's will support 8-10 psi?

Thanks for any help guys! Keep up the good work...I've learned so much from this thread!!!

ppl have been know to push the greddy kit to at least 8PSI. And I have a d16y8 running 8PSI on 264cc injectors (don't ask) so my educated guess is that 330ccs could probably handle 10PSI.

the reason I wanted to run 310's is because of start-up and getting the car to idle. i was thinking you would be able to get the car to idle a lot easier with a little smaller injector vs. the 450's.

thanks for the insight guys!

Default Help me manage my fuel--Just got turbo kit, advice?

Ok so I just got a turbo kit, pieced together kit, including: Lovefab SST mani, K26 turbo, Delta Wastegate 5-7psi springs, Greddy type S BOV, Ford Probe intercooler, 2" piping....and the worst **Vortech FMU**

OK so I plan to run 7 psi on my 94 LS. I have a GSR tranny, and it is stock other than that. So My question is, is the vortech FMU adequate? Stock Fuel system? I'm going for inexpensiveness here. Ideally I would like to buy a wideband O2 and use Uberdata to tune it, but we don't have a dyno anywhere close, and I don't want to spend like 400 for the O2, reader, and dyno time.

So another question, would it be better to get a map from someone who has a similar setup and use it?? I have an eprom burner...IF so, does anyone have access to such a map? (if you think you do you can ask me for more specs)

Ohh, and should I get bigger injectors and a fuel pump? either way with FMU or uberdata? (most likely DSM 450's and walbro 225) b/c of their prices.
