I don't know - I bug him sometimes, worst thing that can happen is you won't get an answer.
If you bribe him with a donation he might be friendlier
I think he is pretty cool though.

Few questions:
1)What is ment by the VTEC disable RPM? Is that disabling VTEC while decellerating?
2) Do you have to hit "Apply" on all the non-boost options given when putting together a .bin? ie:idle, vtec engagement, etc...
Thanks

This may sound stupid, but I have everything to do this. I can chip my own ECU, but then how will I tune? How do I connect my laptop to my ECU? Is there a special wire/harness?
Vtec isn't supposed to kick in until you hit a certain MPH, otherwise it's wasting the low end torque profile cam.
You can disable this, ostensibly, I guess if you want to launch in vtec.
Boostcreep: This program will let you make new fuel ignition maps. You make the maps with experience and research, sorry no pancea for that. Functionally, you need to burn a new map/chip everytime you make a change. Or you can use a rom emulator device, and make the changes via a laptop, without un-socketing the ecu.

Please dont blast me for asking...I just cant read through all these pages right now.
My question is: On a stock i/h/e jdm itr motor with a kenji chipped p28...will I see a hp gain using the uberchip or do I need to be boosted to gain the benefits?
And if it will help in my situation anyone have a map for this motor with a few bolt ons?
Any help would really be great. Thanks guys.

it just alows you to create your own maps, and extend them into boost. Since you allready have a chipped ecu, why bother? unless you think that you can write a better map than the whan it has been chipped with.

So with the help of The Uber, I figured out what was wrong. My p30 JDM ecu required a JDM map. A JDM P72map was aquired and mapped for boost, and it works like a dream. No v-afc hack!! By the way, I was at nopi this year and won 3rd place for 4cylinder forced induction putting down 277hp @ 9psi. And that was with the v-afc hack and a fukked o2 sensor. Now with the o2 sensor fixed and the uber, i cant wait to see what I dyno.

sam post your 255 whp bin!!! it would be great since im making an uberdata website w/ the people's maps and their setups...
This is what i have done so far on the site...its not anything special but the drop down on the left will keep things nice and organized for quick searching
http://free.hostdepartment.com....html
NOW I NEED YOUR MAPS TO HELP PEOPLE OUT. SEND THEM TO ME!!

I am hosting this site for him - I can post the .bin files and add a section if that is easier. At any rate, it would be great to start posting .bin files and comparing setups, settings, and results.

Question: I just picked up a P06 ECU on condition that I can use it (so I can give it back if it ain't gonna work). My question is: Will this work after chipping for running a B16A? I know it's the SOHC non-VTEC ECU, so will it be wired up just like a P28? Or should I give this sucka back and get a P28?
P06 ECU from PGM-FI
Mine is similar except the board is labelled "Denshigiken", which is weird, because underneath the part number on the side, it says IPT
Also, the board is labelled "02D01720-1500"
Am I screwed or should I chip it?

Because it's the only obd1 ecu I have kicking around, and it'll do the job I want. Just need to disable the high cam/ignition maps.

The P06/P75 would both lack the circuitry to control vtec.
You have basically three classes of ecus:
non-vtec, P06, p75 etc.
vtec, p28, p30, p73
and vtec WITH IAB, P72, P13.
You can generally drive a LESSER engine with a more featurful ecu, but not vice versa.

It's amazing no one has requested a P13 .bin..... Anyone with a P13? I have a JDM P13 but a US .bin would work I guess. Since I won't be able to chip my P13 which ecu is best to run my H22A Vtec Prelude?
Great info.
