@ overblown-teg >you dont need the com port settings. you need the parallel port settings ( LTP1 )

Hmmm, it doesnt really use any cpu time, no real image either. My only concern is not being able to red he cell values over their background shading.
edit, the batronix usb burner is about $200 if that helps any

I found the printer MODE in setup. there is epp+ecp, output only and bi- directional. Which one of those would you guys say is right? Is that the correct section to be looking? I have a compaq with xp.

Yes, that is it. take it out of ECP/EPP Mode and set it to bidirectional!

Just curious... I modified the stock LS map for 450cc injectors, and entered a fuel average efficiency of 120%. Under the ignition tables, the timing is at -6.00 in all areas of boost.(same as the stock LS map) Does this seem correct, or should these values be something different?

Read the faq, i am in a generous mood, and will tell you however. Click on the boost setting, set the boost ignition retard to 1.0 and click apply, this will populate the boost portion of the ignition map.
The stock map sensor can read ~11psi. Doesnt need checkvalves or anything, just a chipped ecu, larger injectors, and pressure in your intake manifold

Sorry about that. When I clicked on the boost tab the ignition retard was preset at 1.0, I just didn't apply it. At first glance it looked like it was already done.
I thank you for your generous mood Rakka

uberdata sounds great and I will eventually go this route for my setup. However, I was curious what tuning methods people are using. Using an EGT guage and a wideband...how much timing do you advance or retard to reduce or increase EGT numbers by a certain temp or vice versa? Or how much fuel do you add or subtract to get from 9:1 to 12:1 ratio? I've never tuned a car so I'd rather stay away from guessing and checking and reburning chips and all of that junk....

I know you hate checking and having to reburn chips all the time, but it's something you'll probally have to do. It's hard to really guess, because if you overshoot, and run too lean = byebye motor.
It depends on your turbo, injectors, fuel, etc etc. On my car, about 10% fuel would get me around 1.0 lambda

Ahh! Stupid me... never checked for field changes, just checked to see if the ignition retard value changed
Thanks!

This is a good question, I would love to know the answer to this question. I am a little shocked that I do not see more tuners in this forum.. Then again this hurts the business. However if any tuners are reading this, please understand that some of us will still go to you for tuning. Uberdata is great for DIY's. For the rest we still prefer to drop the car by and let you do your thing..
