Questions about Boost Controller & VTEC features:
1) Is the Boost Controller feature enabled? If I enter 4 low and 8 high will it work? Do you have to do anything else to the turbo or car to get Boost Control feature working?
2) With the VTEC feature, what is ment by the Disable RPM? Is that when your car goes Out of Vtec while decelerating?

OK i see the boost controller feature is disabled, does that mean if i get the premium version VIA contributing to the cause, it'll be enabled there? And in the version where you can use the boost controller feature, how does it control your boost? I really dont understand that....?

I don't think this would actually control your boost. You still need to purchase a boost controller or solenoid of some sort. I dnt' understand it completely. But just chipping an ecu doesn't control boost, you stll need another mechanical assembly in order to control teh wastegate open/closing.

You use the pinouts from the ecu to control a dual stage manual boost controller. You would have to find out which pinouts are energized, then wire the power into the dual stage boost controller so it would switch from low to high boost according to the setting in uberdata.

Yes, ver. 3.3
Overblown-Teg - Let me know how it turns out! What version of the batronix are you using? It is silkscreened on the PCB. If you are using 3.2, there is a write-up on how to convert to 3.3.

Do you not just set launch control engagement point in the tab and that's it? Is that not working for you?
Thanks

i cant believ eyou guys are catching on so late, i already tuned my Ls on uberdata for 255whp @ 10psi
i cant wait to see ya'll dyno numbers.
when you tune just make sure you start out real rich and then back off. Dont start lean and add fuel.
also, take out like 10% fuel for every +/- 1 a/f ratio and dial in for 11.5:1-12:1 from 3k on. It can be leaner before that.. for timing dont go below 0.5 degree per # taken out, especially with higher compression. Id take out .75 or 1 degree per # on the street as the additional timing isnt worth it at all.
if the car bogs in the top end w/ an uberdata basemap, dont be surprised. i was at a 1200 fuel value at 5k rpm and only 550 or 600 at 7k rpm. Car runs out of breath fast w/ a non-vtec.

it uses the a/c clutch line output to toggle a boost solenoid. GM boost solenoids are $17 from the dealer i think.

newbie question: correct me if I'm wrong, but do i have to take out the 29c256 chip to make changes to the ecu? if so how would i tune it at a dyno? or(240/NewInjectorSize*100)+5 is this all i need to run a happy boost life. tx!
ok guys I really am a moron.. I cant find the com port settings.. where do I go to change them? i tried plugging it in direct and I still get the sector 0 error

bring your computer to tune on the dyno. and you do need to take the chip out

It is not through your serial (com) port, it is through your parallel port. To change the settings on this... depends on your computer. Most computers you need to reboot, hit the appropriate key to enter your bios, and find the port section. (you usually hit DEL, F2, or F8 depending on who made your PC to enter the BIOS or Setup).

Ok I got to the setup and the settings for parrellel port. But mine are like this 378-37f, 778-77d, IRQ 7, dma 3
What should I set it to?

That would be your resource settings. You need to find the mode section, and change it from ECP/EPP to SPP or just ECP or EPP.

pueblo cares not, thanks for putting it up - sorry everyone about how crude it is, but the noobs have some helpful links in one place.
