Default Making threads for oil feed fitting

The oil feed port on my Turbo(T3 Super 60) has no threads to screw a fitting in. I was wondering if it would be o.k. to make some threads of my own. Because of the shaving when making the threads would it be a problem. I know that Max Rev sells the flange, but that little thing cost $20 bucks +. Any suggestions?Any one selling a flange at a lower price?

I woulden't make it if I were in your shoes. Unless you have done something like this before. Risking the chance of metal shavings getting in to the oil supply or even the compressor can ruin a perfectly good turbo. Spend the extra $$ and buy one.
