supercharger BOV???
do you supercharders use BOV's? i was riding in a civicSI with a vortech SC and when he let off the throttle it sound like a quiet BOV. if they do, what are they used for? do they use watsegates?
Yes a supercharged vehicle can utilize a BOV, no superchargers dont use wastegates, the PSI is set via pulleys, the pulley only lets the SC spin fast enough to creat the desired amount of presure that the pulley was designed to generate.

We supercharged, usually refer to them as by-pass valves. but it is the same as a BOV. If it was quiet it was probably recirculated back into the intake tube. If I vent mine to the atmosphere it is very noticable.
At steady speeds they will make a constant pshhhhh noise, like on the highway, because the sc is always blowing air.
