yeah, but if you're going to do that, get a no-weld fitting...less ghetto than JB... Personally, I'd just get one permanently welded. It's a big deal to turbo a car right. I wouldn't cut corners on something like an oil fitting.

i have seen people jb weld it and it works fine for them. if you have the money to get it welded, get it welded, that is what i would do to be on the safe side.

Don't be a cheap bastard. Sure it has worked for some people but it's a half-*** thing to do. It costs me $30bucks to have my fitting welded on to my pan.

JB Weld

I jb welded my y8 oil pan and it was perfect, I jb welded my d15b oil pan and it sucked, i tried many coats, I just gonna weld it now.

jb works great when its works, but when it drips.. it sucks...

the way I look at it,
you're going to have to pull the oil pan to put the return in anyways.

so if it's off the car, just drive it down to an exhaust shop or something and have the fitting welded solid.

i can't imagine they'd charge more than 20bux to do it. if not less.

but yeah, I have heard of people jb welding it and it working.
BUT I have also heard of people jb welding it and it leaking !!

if you can afford to go turbo, i don't see how you can be so cheap and use jb weld on there

I used JB on my H22 oil pan because it is aluminum, and honestly, it worked great, just take your time and make sure to let it cure good and you will be set.

I welded mine to the pan, and then sealed it up with RTV to prevent any leaks. Works like a charm.
