Default Garrett Turbo on a stock b-series on 11psi? Yes/No?

Can i get away for a little bit with turbo charging my stock gsr block with a type-r head? Got the hondata s300, 750cc inj., fuel pump, and a pretty looking Peak Boost turbo kit with a Garrett gt3040 (gt35R compressor, 30 exhaust side) and a 44mm tial wastegate set for 10-11 psi. Should I not waste my time and just build the bottom end(ie-2.0 sleeved, pistons, rods, etc.)???

you should be around 320whp with that setup and psi so you'll be fine!

Can you boost a stock block to 11psi? Yes.

But why? if you plan to build then you are going to create twice the work for yourself. On top of the headache of stressing about blowing your engine you will pay your tuner twice. a 35r is going to be very laggy on such a small setup and the injectors are way too large for 300-350hp.

if you are planning on building the block one day, get started on it now. if you are looking for just a fun dd go ahead with that set up. i had a 30r on my dd stock b16 and it was a lot of fun but now im building the motor with a different set up and i feel like i wasted the past 3 yrs. and money

agree about injectors, that seem a little to much for 11 psi. but when ever u get it together just make sure it is tuned and done right. should last
