10.6.1 comp?
once again PSI really doesnt matter, its all in the tune. A local shop around here just finished an 11 to 1 compression B16 it went up to 16 pounds and made 378whp. They used Hondata S300 for the EMS

Sorry to thread jack, but do you have a dyno sheet and setup specs of this? I'm curious to see the midrange.

Yes I run 93 octane and have a 3 bar map
I was tuned by Jeff Evans both times, he said if I wanted to do a race gas tune we could have easily made 400+ @ ~16psi.

450whp 325ft/lbs on a stock motor, only internal upgrade is the ARP head studs.

Jordan,
You'll be absolutely fine with the stock ITR compression. I would stay under 350whp on pump gas to be safe, anything higher look into running an auxilary race gas map. High compression isn't neccesarily a bad thing for a turbo motor, TonyTheTiger used to run one wicked setup wtih 11.5:1 if my memory serves. The negativite aspect comes in to play on the tuning end of things, as the possibility of bad gas or too much timing will quickly result in detonation, same as with low compression, there's just less headroom.
In regards to my previous setup, it's still runing strong in a friend's hatch N/A, I believe there are some future plans.
It still pulls 220 Compression across the board.
The motor has been through quite a bit: 35,000 stock miles, ~30,000 turbo miles, 200+ passes at the track, never had one issue. Just goes to show tuning is everything
