car wont run after walbro install
installed a 190lph walbro pump in my 00' civic si w/greddy turbo kit (310cc injectors and blue box) First off i thought the walbro pump was supposed to fit faily easily like everyone said, I found that it didn't just drop in as easy as everyone says. I eventually got the pump in, but still wonder why it was so difficult to install.
anyhow, i start my car up and nothing, i cant even get the car to idle. for 5 seconds. Now I dont' have an adjustable FPR, should I get one? could the fuel pressure be too high?

Re: car wont run after walbro install (VspecSiR)
Can you hear the pump come on when you turn the key to the ON position? When I did mine it didn't turn on the first couple times, it was weird. Then it just worked..

i'm not sure what else could be the problem but the pump should only have taken u like 10-15 minutes tops to install. and it does go in pretty easily. make sure the pump is correct for ur car. and is a 190lph

Re: (civicrida3)
He doesnt really need a 255 HP for his setup.
If the pump is priming, I would check to see if maybe the pickup fell off. You know for sure is on.

if you installed it correctly it should be fine, unless you did something else, i just installed my walbro 255 on my civic and it wasnt to back even though i had to drop the tank, but it worked fine, maybe you go tthe wrong pump?

yeah after checking if the pump is on (can you hear it) i would check the pressure at the rail. as for the fuel pressure reg, i would recommend a pressure sensitive regulator but don't worry about that until you can get the car running.
