Default Inline fuel pump install

I've got everything done with my turbo setup except my inline fuel pump. Where do you guys recommend I put it? I've read that I could attach it near the filler tube, and I've also seen someone install it in the engine bay. Which location do you think is better? Where do you guys recommend I put it, and why? Are there any other options I haven't thought about yet? Any tips on the install... how do you recommend I route the hoses?

I've also got another question. I've been told different things by different people and I need some clarification. I was originally under the impression I must remove my stock intank pump and fabricate a tube to replace it and then install my inline pump. But recently I have been told to leave my stock pump in the car, and run both together, whats the deal? Can someone please clarify this once and for all?

Leave your stock intank fuel pump alone and install the inline pump in the engine bay.
