You can make 400whp but 350whp would last longer on a stock engine but you need to do a few things, like a .080tho cometic hg and arp headstuds.oh yah and scrap the 16g idea and put a real turbo kit on there.Im selling my h22 full turbokit that fits into eg chassis for cheap pm me for details.

Depends on the series h22 you have. We have made well over 500hp on 100% stock motors with .030 cometic and good headstuds depending on the fuel and tune on obd1 closed deck blocks. So far, with an open deck obd2 we are yet to push it that far because we have been waiting for aem to send our cdi back, but we are over 400hp so far and only has .030hg and headstuds. I plan on shooting for much more when it's ready. with stock headbolts and hg it blew immediately at 400.
Big thing is Turbo setup and Tune. a cheap turbo kit and sh*t turbo will only get you too much boost with a hot charge and detonation. Peakboosts work great and are proven around here. Otherwise, H22 is very similar to a k20 in terms of flow.

You are correct greencivic, the h22 FRM cylinder walls are very strong however, thats not what you should be worried about. You need to be aware of the weak piston ringlands. Also the rods seem to go out after pushing it past 400whp.

Get a billet wheel, get a 5557. The stock rods would probably hold it because they are pretty beefy. But id just find a set of eagles. Thats what i run in mine with wiseco pistons.
