I thought Strange was the baller setup. What would these gain you over the Strange shocks?

In seriousness, these are N I C E..

 

The ones I am getting are triple adjustable and custom made with specific valving, hell these even come with a dyno graph LOL. Strange Engineering are nice shocks don't get me wrong but Penske shocks are full blown drag shocks custom built per your application.

With Penske you get a highspeed compression adjustment, Low speed compression adjustment, and a single rebound adjustment. You can also run rebound sensors with these shocks to help with adjustments, they also come with bearing plates for the springs so you never have spring bind. The high-speed compression adjustment works with preloaded shims on a piston face while the rebound and low-speed compression adjustments consist of a needle/seat arrangement for a bleed bypass and comes with a reservoir.

• Triple Adjustable – 25 Clicks Low Speed Compression, 17
• Clicks High Speed Compression, 30 Clicks Rebound

Don't get me wrong I am sure it will take awhile to actually set these up making passes and adjusting but putting the power down is more important than just making a ton of power.

 

Oh and I will probably put the Strange Engineering fronts up for sale LOL, just thought I would put that out there.

That’s what I’m wondering also. Any particular goals with this car since you’ve already done 8 seconds, what’s next?

 

My guess would be 7 seconds.

 

That’s amazingly fast. 8 seconds is already seriously fast.

 

I’m just waiting on Joe, he’s the only one who tunes Motec and really only tunes certain cars. Most of the time Joe turns business down and sends them to other tuners because he’s busy.


My goals are to go deep 8’s, I have a setup capable of going that fast but need everything sorted out. Once I get there I’m planning on AWD eventually once prices start coming down.

As close to it as I can get LOL.
