That's great - looks stock. Do you just about sling them off the hinges when opening them because they're so light?
Thanks man and yes when you open them it feels weird because you expect it to be heavy. It does look stock as well, looks like my metal doors are still on.
Nice work man.It looks stock and the matte looks OEM as well. Body lines looks pretty dead on but was the door line adjusted or is that the line that came with the door?

So this particular door was pretty bad, basically the door didn’t fit. I had to trim all edges just to get the door on. Next big issue is the area where the door handle was, was about an 1/8 inch or more too thick. So the when you closed the door it stuck out that far. So I had to shave the door down over an 1/8 inch to lay flat when the door closed.
Now the body lines all the way around the door were just cut flat. I molded all the edges to give it that rolled look like a factory door. All the other lines on the door were essentially shaped to look a lot better by me.
Once that was done the actual door handle area was sunk in about a 1/4 inch and the door skin itself had a ton of high and low spots, so I basically block sanded the actual gel coat to get as flat as possible before skim coating the entire door.
now the drivers door I’m working on now wasn’t all thick and fits good but the door skin itself is like a hurricane ocean tide with big waves everywhere. There are some spots so high that I had to fiberglass back the inside of the door so I can flap the skin down to level it out. If I wouldn’t have done that I would have burned a hole in the door to flatten it out.
All in all these door are junk unless you want to spend probably 100 hours of body work and for me I’ve spent 800 bucks on just bodywork and paint materials. However if you put A LOT of time basically rebuilding the doors you can get it to look good LOL!
Someone may be juussssst a little OCD and it shows in your car. It's done right.
You are 100% right man, my buddy was like why paint them and throw them on but I just can’t do it. I want my stuff to look really good and can’t help but try LOL.
Well made a lot more progress, finished the driver side door and just finished the front bumper. When I decided to go with a forward facing turbo I modified my bumper for the turbo but was having issues with the bumper not fitting with the intercooler. I had to do a good amount of trimming but the hardest part was the bumper wouldn’t slide over the top of the intercooler.
If you look at the bumper the mid section would curve downwards hitting the intercooler so what I had to do was eliminate the slope and level it off. I added layers of fiberglass to the top and then took a grinder and ground the bottom side to raise it up about a 1/4 inch. After that the bumper fit and I now had to reshape and body work that section to look like nothing happened and the. Repaint. To me it looks perfect and you would never know.
