anyone making homemade top mount manifolds?
i have been looking around on h-t for awhile and thought i would check in here and see if anyone here could help me out.i would really like a top mount for my ls turbo setup since im currently on a mani thats like one step better than a log and its homemade. its not a bad mani i just want something better. the price of a full race or similar mani is too much for me so i was hoping someone could help me out. even a ramhorn style would be better than what i got now. can anyone help me out?

Why are top mounts the new in thing?
For some set ups I can see, but for a stock LS with 10 psi running thru it, you are wasting your time IMO

Send me a PM too, except for any chance you could build one for a d-series?
As for me, I'm scraping for every bit of power I can get. 10:1 really limits me on boost pressure (on pump).

No 10:1 limits you on power on pump. Boost pressure done mean jack.

K, its my personal opinion (since I dont have any evidence to back up my side yet) that that is a false statement. I have yet to see an evidence proving otherwise. Its a fact when you compress air it heats up, therefore the less its compressed (aka the lower the boost pressure) the lower IAT's equal more power/less chance of detonation.
But thats not what this thread was about...so lets not threadjack. If you would like to argue this with me, you may do so with pm's.
