i was wondering how many ppl are running a top mount on there DD cars? im planning on doing a top mount this next season, but was won dering is there any things that would be BAD for me to use it on a DD car. the turbo will be a SC61

 

I am running a top munt with a sc61 on my daily driver. Nothing bad at all but more lag than my old 60trim and ramhorn setup thats for sure.

 

Went from cast to log to top mount, top mount is definitely my favorite.

Extremely easy to work on

 

Is there any Top Mount out that works with A/C?

i have been dd with my topmount for the last 2 years..

 

i really, really doubt that...have u seen most top mounts and where the turbo is on them? the runners or the turbo itself would get in the way of AC

 

Why do you "need" a topmount? makes no sense to me to get a manifold unless there is no way to fit a turbo in a bottom mount situation.

your not going to gain anything above ease of working on it. but who takes there stuff apart all the time. if you need to remove your turbo or w/e all the time you have more problems then dding a topmount.
