Methanol would love to have your B-series head for lunch.

Ahhh you have much to learn my young one. To hurt a motor on methanol you have to run that thing beyond "blowtorch lean". I have seen people do some amazingly stupid crap on methanol cars and still never burn a piston/head. Its an amazingly forgiving fuel with a lot of potential. The only thing I don't like about it is that your exhaust doesn't smell nearly as cool as it does with 118 octane gasoline.

#1 you are the stupidess person at the moment, maybe you should do training in espionage and take some english classes.

#2 Fact : Methanol doesn't like aluminum, its possible for it to eat away @ aluminum fittings over time, the b-series motor reply was being sarcastic, that's why cars that run E85 are specially suited to run E85.

You claimed no cooling for direct port you were wrong on your behalf, I tried to say it 2 times that it does, you were like ' bleh no it doesn't '. PCR is a pro @ what he does I asked him to come clear some things up, I didn't drag him as my personal attack dog to come in here and try to make someone look bad I respect him.

I replied about 1 thing the cooling, your conversation with him is about common things on the subject of Nitrous. What I notice is that your quick to jump on what I say = Hater. From what it looks like you think you've got me down on paper. :waves hand: Buzz off man.

Did the motor injest that much material properly or did it just keep giving you problems before you could get it down?

i started out small and kept going...reading all the plugs and doing things accordingly.when i got it to where i wanted it....i took her to the track and she performed flawlessly. ran absolutely the best it ever had.....

Ok enough of the pissing contests, lets get back to that wonderful gas we like so much.

Harv, on the phone we talked a little bit about why I don't like the NOS pro race distribution blocks so I fugure i'll try to be a bit more elaborate in why that is. First off, its not like they don't work, we are talking about tuning down to the gnats *** where the difference between winning and losing is .001 seconds. The way I look at it, every little detail counts.

The flaw in the NOS blocks the the same flaw with most standard blocks. You have 2 lines feeding upstream of 2 other lines which inevitably leads to the rear two lines seeing slightly higher pressure. Granted we are talking about a restricted system with a relatively low velocity through this area so the effects are minima at best. But the way I see it, since I want to have my own swanky little distribution blocks, I might as well build them right and not have to worry about it.

yes i under stand what your saying completely.but truthfully.....i am not into it
that hard core.....like the pro's.what i do really works for me and people have seen that....and some have even found out the hard way.

then there is always a fuel and nitrous noid for each nozzel...but to me that
would be over kill....but would look awesome as hell.

hold on and i will post some pics of the set up.

Yeah the individual solenoid pair per cylinder thing is something a lot of us have dreamed about. The "wizard of NOS" did this setup for a US based pro mod car. They claimed that they were going to reset all the world records, kick all the yank *** (the "wizard" is british) blah blah blah. Last I herd they hurt the motor and never even qualified. Pretty cool looking system, even if it doesn't work for ****.

I think its an awsome idea but to make it worthwhile I would want it all computer controlled with crank and cam sensor feedback (and wbo2 while were dreamin) so that we could have sequential control of the system. Maybe if I ever can get my progressive solenoid thing to work i'll set my sights higher on this concept. As of now, that much computer work is a bit above my head (and pocket book).
