Default crome question need help

Well I am barely starting to learn to use crome and burn1. For some reason if I make my own tune from scratch use a p72 map, mess around with the settings such as the revlimiter and vtec. Then i save file and it will show saved as 32kb. when I load it to the burn 1 program the address will not be the same. I have some 64kb files that my friend gave me.Now on the other hand 64kb files will show an exact address and will work fine on my ecu. Anybody know how i can change 32kb files to 64kb or make the adress be the same. PLease help.

The file IS 32 kb, but since you are using a 512 chip instead of the 256, you have to burn the file to the last half of the chip (ie from 8000 as HR said).

All your friend did is create a 64kb file either by reading the whole 512 chip from start to finish, or added 32kb of junk to the front of the stock tune with some sort of binary stacker.....

so i choose the 27sf512 chip and input 8000 in both the start address in hex from the chip adressing and the buffer addresing?

If you have a 32k file you can't start the buffer addressing from 8000. The chip addressing needs to be 8000.
