Re: Question about uberdata (JDMracer17)
yes uberdata is free.. but their 1.7 has been having alot of problems....
I used uberdata, but now i use Crome.... and its much better IMO..
basically you need some sort of chip burner to put the program onto a chip... you can modify basically anything and then burn it to a chip and start it up....
its more complicated then that, thats just a general idea...

For ease of use, you're safest getting the moates.net usb burner and uberdata 1.70 to start (1.70 'rev2' has all features together). Uberdata is great when its in open loop (doesn't use the o2 to 'save' fuel while cruising), but I've had some issues in closed loop. I'm in the process of switching to crome, but I need a motor first.
Look on pgmfi.org for more info.

Re: (HiProfile)
i have had ZERO problems with uberdata 1.7. im using it on my car for about 2 -3 years now with no problems. i've tune over 30 cars on uberdata 1.7 with no problems as well. only issue is a bouncing idle when the car is cold, thats it
