Your personal feedback? Of street-jackassery? Are you taking "circuit times" of these events with proof that its faster? Or are you going on your un-calibrated ***-dyno?

Well maybe because at the point you jumped in that is what the discussion was about. Had you read a little beforehand you may have known that. It was a natural assumption for us to think that is what you were talking about since THAT is what we all were discussing and your comments fell right in line with the other guy's (and he was talking about track driving).

Perhaps you should have qualified that a little better.

im sorry im not able to be on the track as much as you - i really do wish i could and i always made a note of asking you or drew for advice on it since you guys are in the area and i had repsect for you but it seems as if you guys are just way to arrogant to ask anything of.

not circuit times but turn times, yes i have timed it on some occasions and it is faster. also looking at exit speed and entrance speed in relation to set landmarks on the turn.

that along with the above, and a strong understanding of physics and mathematics.

yeah, i read most of the thread and i was aware of what was being discussed and i even knew i was going to get flamed for saying what i was saying at that time. maybe thats why i felt the need to give so many disclaimers in my first post as to cover my back so everyone wouldnt just jump on my *** but i guess that happened anyways

You have never asked me anything in regards to driving. In fact you usually argue with me no matter what it is we are discussing.

I think drifting is pretty cool. It also involves alot of skill. For those of you who know nothing of this topic and have just jump on the
DRIFT = M4d R!C3rs y0 bandwangon, take a couple of minutes on google and actually do some of your own research and then take a minute to see if is really worth bashing.

Imagine the adrenilane pumping when you completely lose control of a car going around a sharp turn and then slowly regaining barley preventing a sideways collision into a concrete barrier.

Then go out and get yourself a 1991 Integra GS and a helmet and leave it at that.

You will be amazed at how much fun you will have, and how much you will learn about driving/car control on track in a stock, underpowered slushbox with no grip.

Sounds just like road racing - only slower and without other cars 2" off to the side of you.

If you want a 2nd gen, then get a 92-93 RS (base model). There's several advantages over the 90-91 and LS/GS models.

Awww . . . does it hurt your feelings to think that people may not like drifting?

Whta is exactly the point again? Because it's not like they are racing each other nor there are lap times? What the hell is the point.

ok here is an example: skating

You have speedskating (a sport), where people race against eachother or against the clock.

You have figureskating (a "sport"), where people perform against eachother for points.

Keyword: PERFORM

to each his own, but that is what it is: a performance, a show, a subjective game.

They come with a B18 (non-vtec), they weigh considerably less, no sunroof, and lack all the weighty luxury items of the LS, and GS

No. The motors are the same for all trim levels

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> what are the advantages ... weight?</TD></TR></TABLE>

The 92-93 cars had 140hp (vs. 130 for 90-91), OBD1 (more ECU options), more transmission (final drive, clutch/fw, LSD, etc) options and a few other things.

The RS models had less weight (no power options, sunroof, ABS, etc) to carry around.
