Yeah, I think the car was just messing with me by slipping the belt AND the rotor!

***UPDATE 11/20/06***

Car is officially working again, here's a picture of the cam gear actually spinning!

I picked up some 14" steelies and stripped them bare today. Guess what's gonna go on them?

BFG Drag radials. And yeah on those heavy wheels. They were free, I am poor, and can only afford the tires, not the tires and rims. So there!

are BFG radial good tires? I need some cheap rubber that will grip well with my boosted single.

They won't hook like slicks will, but they're pretty damn good. Especially when the track is nice and sticky.

The main reason I got them instead of slicks, is cause I don't really have the power to burnout with slicks and such. Plus, i'd like to be able to drive to the track with them and then drive back without worrying about changing anything at the track.

Damn straight! I hate my traction right now, lol. Still cut a 2.2 though!

I am seriously tempted to go thru tech with the spinner hubcaps to see what the tech people say.

If you got em, bring extra axles with you. I'd hate to see something bad happen as a result of drags, pencil sized axles and stock differential

I don't think I'll break an axle, I always preolad, and I'm not making that much power.

The stock Si diff. isn't very strong, but like I said, I'm not making that much power...

But seriously, I am doing the fuel pump tomorrow and the window switch and wiring on sunday. It's supposed to be 60 degrees and sunny, so it'll be nice.
