yea they seem really cool. they told me $25 to resurface the flywheel. $25 to resurface the head. i forgot how much to balance the crank but they have real decent prices.

I'm so ready to just start having fun with this project. I'm sick of watching the parts pile build up in my room. I'm ready to start BUILDING SOMETHING!

Actually, I did start tonight. I assembled the pistons on the rods. Looking sexy.

haha.. just like me.. when I go to sleep at night, there ia a B18c block on the floor, to the right of my pillow, a catback Tanabe exhaust at my feet and some random cusco **** to the left, not even considering all the crap in my closet. I cant wait to start the assembly but Im in between apartments and I dont trust that **** on my car when I dont have a garage. I know how thieves work.. I used to be immature and irresponsible too, although, I must say that I have always respected others cars.

anyways, Im subscribed.. keep up the good work brah

Ah, you bitch!

I was just getting on H-T to say that I just finished gapping my new Hastings rings. If only you were like 3 days earlier. Oh well...

They are all gapped perfectly and equal. And none are broken this time around, lol.

I'm gonna measure the crank tomorrow and make sure it's all within spec.

Oh no, he's not the seller.

I got them from FJT and he actually has awesome customer service. He shipped out the rings very quickly and was very sympathetic when I explained my situation.

I'm telling you man, you CANNOT build a Vitara D16 without hitting him up. He has friggin awesome prices and some of the best customer service I've dealt with.

And no, I'm not being paid to say this, I was just really impressed...

You have no idea. It'll be worth it in the end though...

Some random pix of how it's sitting as if now.

Yeah that's my desk.

One day...

The morning after it gets tuned, when I wake up, look outside, and my boosted, 300 hp, 2000 lb car is sitting in the driveway, that's when it'll be worth it.
