That's cheap for some seats, out here they go for much more than what you got em for.

lol i was trying to low ball them too since they're all ripped up. i was kicking my self in the *** because i really only needed the backs but i forgot my allen wrenches at home so i had to buy the whole damn seats. i picked up my ls seats from the same yard for 30 bux when they were having a 20 percent off sale... lol

so here's my check off list...

install oil pan/gasket and torque to specs - DONE
install timing belt - DONE
install vtec solenoid gaskets - DONE
install thermostat - DONE
salvage a new thermostat housing from the j/y, mine some how went missing - DONE
purchase a new throwout and pilot bearing, i was told the ones i had on there were new but eh good security any ways
resurface the fly wheel - not doing, so DONE
degrease and prep the trans for paint
paint the engine and trans
purchase fluids
purchase new cap/rotor plugs and wires
convert my p28 to manual
find my jumper harness and finish it DONE
finish my body wiring for the obd1 vtec conversion
paint brake booster
replace brake booster and master cylinder
replace brake lines almost DONE
bleed brakes
put everything together in the car and start it and check for leaks

few more things:
replace lower ball joints on my knuckles
replace rear rotors
resurface front rotors
purchase pcv valve

I know it doesn't look like much, but i have actually accomplished alot. especially since i've been working my *** off at work and been dealing with my parts si. hopefully i'll be able to knock some more things off the list tomorrow and through out the weekend.

here's a pic of the fire wall thingy i got today:

going be swapping out the parts that the seats bolt to for 90-91 style so i can use a 90-91 seat pan. i think they look cleaner than the 88-89 style ones. plus, as an added bonus, the 90-91 floor rails are welded to support 88-89 seat rails or 90-91 seat rails.

Chariot conversion anyone?

How the front looks rn:

did some work today! installed my infinity kaapa 6.5" components into some OEM speaker pods i snagged from the junk yard. they sound SOOOOOOOOOOO good! and fit like oem speakers. i sware it sounds like i have a low powered sub in my trunk. after that, I pulled off my fenders, removed all under dash components accept the steering column, modded my rear wiring harness to plug into my 91 si front body harness, added the wiring for a clutch neutral safety switch, removed my super chopped up body harness, replaced the thingy on my blower that controls (i would assume) the speed of the blower since one of the elements on it is broken, took apart my si harness and integrated the wiring for power windows and mirrors into it then taped it all back up, and prepped and painted my brake booster and it came out GREAT!

tomorrows goal is to reinstall the body harness, re do the wire tuck (for the last time!!!) replace my carpet and rca's and hopefully replace my steering knuckles as well.

here's a couple pix for teasers!

SI body and engine harness

These things keep me going every day

Super crap tastic dark celly pic of my brake booster

Burned out element thingy

About the jensen head unit, my friend got one and ya it works fine but the reaction time of it is slow. It takes a while to turn on, load cd/mp3s, and the touch screen has a significant delay. Just something to think about.

well didn't do as much as i had thought i'd get done, but today was kind of a messed up day. i did manage to get the si body harness put back into my car, went and saw a nightmare on elm street with some friends (that movie is FU(KED up btw). came home, did a nice clean up job on my garage, although it's not done yet, then poured some oil over my valve train and into each cylinder so that things don't get bone dry and rusty

hahahaha i feel like i've been driving my van that long too. odysseys are bad *** though.

chorizo! it's going up tonight or tomorow. gotta play with the seat though before i sell them, might be able to repair the damage, which would be AWESOME. got one 89 si seat in trade for seat pan swapping my old prelude seats onto my buddies frames... and there's only a small hole in this one...

well among countless other thigns, i managed a trip up to crown point in the van today. it was fun. cruised there, listened to some country then the northwest brake out show and enjoyed the sunset, even though neither of my boo's were with me... (talkin kate and teh hondaz)

took some pix though
