My car is my daily driver and my not my top priority in life. I'm 20 years old working full time at walmart trying to get my life going as i pay off debt and work towards getting my own place. I admit i've spent a lot of money on stupid things that i ended up re doing, but this was my first real build. If you actually go through my thread you'd see the car has come a LONG way in two years, and will continue to get better with each mod and project. just because it's not b swapped and doesn't have bling tastic paint doesn't mean i haven't had to put serious work into my car. either way i have big plans for it in the comming months

well i don't have many updates for the hatch, mainly because i've just been driving it because i picked up a 90 lx sedan that needed a bunch of tlc. but my diff has decided it's taken enough abuse after 250k miles and it's done, so i'm going to be pulling my front seats, system, headlights, suspension, wheels and stainless steel brake lines off the hatch, installing them on the sedan, then start building this thing for boost. might not have it running again till next year, but that's life, the sedan will be fun to drive too and the hatch will be amazing when she's back

wow just checked this. found a trans in cali that's an oem limited slip with half shaft, but deal didn't really work out so meh. going to the junk yard tomorrow to pick up a 1g integra trans. has the same final drive, but is one of the strongest d series transmissions made, and uses an intermediate shaft so i can use equal length axles. motor is starting to smoke above 5k rpms... wish i would have bored it out larger, but if it gets me through the rest of the year fine i'll have a ncie b20v ready to go into it next spring, then this can be built for boost before being put into my sedan :-)

either way this car is on the back burner for the moment, i'm wanting to get my sedan done and don't want multiple projects going on at once, so she's been sitting quietly till my sedan's up and running which should be this weekend.

small update: i pulled my motor n trans out last weekend, and two weeks ago i picked up a 4spd trans that i'm going to swap a dx gearset and my si final drive into. motor is out so i can change my clutch, which is slipping and is oil soaked, and re seal my oil pan once and for all. i'm almost done paying for a b20v with a cable b16 trans w factory lsd that i'm going to freshen up over the winter and throw into my hatch once it's fully done. then the single cam is comming back out and being transplanted into my sedan which is currently an auto d15

she's been sitting patiently in my side yard as i slowly gather parts for her and what not.

I'm going to start extensive body work when the weather gets nicer (ie, stripping her down to bare shell and full clean). kind of got back seated a little bit, between moving twice in the last 6 months, upkeep on my sedan (which is another project in its own) and helping my parents with some construction on our house.

I did recently pick up a good condition bumper filler piece for her, and i have sitting around:

b16a head
b20b block
most of an ls/b20 vtec conversion kit minus the oil line
hydro gsr gear set and final drive
da hatch window motor springs
ex sedan front knuckles
full set of matching front and rear ls coupe seats
90-91 floor pans for the front seat rails.

up coming plans for the hatch are:
get motor and trans rebuilt, going with eagle rods and rs machines itr style pistons with itr valve train for a base set up,
bodywork/paint, after seeing a smashed up rio red std hatch at the yard i'm thinking i should bring back my stock paint, it would be the easy way to go with paint
order kyb agx's that are 88 or itr specific so i can use my stock 88 spec rear lca's after i have new bushings installed
rebuild da trailing arms/ex knuckles with extended studs
purchase zc headlights and perform a propper projector retro fit to them since i have a set of clear head light covers from some egay housings sitting around
and most importantly have fun with it
