hehehe ARMY FTW! funny thing though, to work on them the shop has to have a current member enlisted in the Army to even touch them.

DO WORK!

well i tried drilling it out, no such luck... so basically i think i'm going to take it back to the machine shop to have them fix it.

hey now don't hate just because i own a ford. my family has owned aerostars since i was like, six. my 'star is my daily driver, and i'm slowly turning it into a hang out van. i'm about to make a build thread on here for it too. lol our aerostars are like the most reliable vehicles i've ever seen. pretty much all i do is change the oil and filter and ad gas and coolant to it (working on fixing that) and it just goes and goes and goes.

did some work yesterday before work. not a lot, but i bolted my window motor back down, and installed my drivers door panel. being sick and working 8 days strait sucks.

got some updates today! finished my door panels, drivers seat pan swap, and replaced the plastic cover on my cluster. Passenger side will be interesting because the stock bracket is broken, and i have to get creative on how i'm going to fix it. but still 35 bux for seats that appeared to be 7/10 condition is not bad imo.

cluster before:

New parts:

After:

also i scored a 17" flat panel monitor from a coworker for only 40 bux

lol but mines a custom built! it's just a gateway keyboard... unless you're saying pc sucks every one should go with mac. to that i say i would love to but i can't afford lol

i replaced the black and clear cluster cover. my old one was hella scratched up, and i had ground off the duck bill thingy so that i could fit it under my 88-89 style cluster cover. the cluster did not fit properly with the added room of the 90-91 cover

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan this is great. i was going to try to install my ex knuckles and no dice. the lower ball joint popped out no problem (which is good because i was going to temporarily re use my old ball joints) but my tie rod bolt thingy just sat there spinning... so i was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and now i have to buy new outer tie rods, new lca bushings, new uca bushings, new ball joints, and pretty much any other bushings you can think of. blah.

did some work today, will have an update tomorrow. but in the mean time, i might be picking up this bad boy (lol) for a fun side project. gotta get more info on it, but it's my friend's mom's car. they haven't driven it in a while, and she actually asked me if i wanted to buy it lol. I think it's an auto tragic, but i can swap that with a quickness if needed.

going to try to go look at it tomorrow before work....
