My 88 std hatch
small update. i temporarily put my valve cover, header and intake manifold on so i can work on wiring. not going for anything TOO crazy, just a mild "clean up the wiring" tuck so it looks more presentable.
so far it looks like ***, but that is because i'm no where near done.

as far as my civic goes, yes, i did some work for it today. i decided that i was tired of tripping over my trans, and that i would attempt to tackle replacing the bearings on the countershaft. well i got it done! all new bearings are in the case and on the countershaft (not including new syncro bearings or diff bearings). gotta finish "pressing" (i don't have a press so... we'll see how this works) in two bearings into the case, then i'll have it reassembled. oooooooooooo i'm getting super close to having my baby back!!!!!!!
alright so here's what i still need to buy/get done
install oil pan/gasket and torque to specs
install timing belt
install vtec solenoid gaskets
install thermostat
salvage a new thermostat housing from the j/y, mine some how went missing
purchase a new throwout and pilot bearing, i was told the ones i had on there were new but eh good security any ways
resurface the fly wheel
degrease and prep the trans for paint
paint the engine and trans
purchase fluids
purchase new cap/rotor plugs and wires
convert my p28 to manual
find my jumper harness and finish it
finish my body wiring for the obd1 vtec conversion
paint brake booster
replace brake booster and master cylinder
replace brake lines
bleed brakes
put everything together in the car and start it and check for leaks
