mmmmmm you're good! yeah they are from an 89 prelude, even say 89 on them. i wish the lights would have been in better shape, the glass had like millions of small cracks on them tho.

ugh so i keep bottoming out my muffler when i hit bumps or go into driveways, and it's getting really annoying... so i'm thinking that my axle back is going be modified with a magnaflow muffler that splits into twin tips as apposed to the GIANT 4.5" tip i have now.

well i did it! after getting an average of 24mpg on my last tank, and going through two quarts of oil in a week, i decided to stop putting off rebuilding my motor and start actually rebuild it. so how did i start off? by draining all the fluids, and pulling the motor and trans of coarse! so no more cruisin in the civic for a while, going to try to get it back asap but well every one knows how well that works lol. i'll post pixs up of the tear down to removal tomorrow when i get them off my friends phone (dad has my camera) i got a couple pix of me cruising with my friends Nate, Steven, Stevens girl Emmy, Jesse, Patrick, and my girlfriend Kate last night. i gotta say, for all the HID haters out there, i get a cleaner cut off with HID's in my car than i do with bulbs. any ways here's the pix:

cruisin east on I84:

Parked up at crown point waiting for steven with Nate

Met up with Kate after she got off work:

They snapped this while i was adding oil... met up with jesse then cruised to clackamas town center:

I don't know for sure what movie it was, but i think the makers of twilight were filming the next movie in the sequence last night. i say this because there were hella trailers parked at rooster rock, and they had a spot light that lit up the entire gorge and they wouldn't tell us what movie it was so... who knows.

Who is we? man just cuz we're getting a washing machine doesn't mean pplz get to use it hella. don't want the bill racked up higher than it already is.

didn't get much done today. my buddy steven gave me his old 88 dx tranny that he blew the diff out of to experiment on, i learned how to split the tranny case apart, so tomorrow i'm going to do the same thing on my tranny to figure out why it's making such an awful grinding noise. hopefully it's something simple.

stopped and looked at an 88 dx hatch on my way home today. pretty clean. no paint problems, minor dent in the drivers door trim, and in the hood area. has 156k miles on it, BONE stock, 5spd, has ac and power steering, started right up and didn't smoke, missing the muffler and needs to pass deq but is pretty nice. guy origonally wanted 575, now he wants 975... might pick it up for my friend who needs a car, then pick it up from him eventually. i'm going work on my motor and trans in a bit, just resting up from work. hardest four hours yet

nice nice. you want or need those brackets? i just remembered i have the brackets that work for my fog lights already so i don't think i'll need them. it's weird how the hook up tho, they bolt to the bumper, not the frame of the car. lmk.

well i haven't gotten much work done to my car lately. all i've done is start to pull apart my tranny, and pulled the head off of my old motor, and moved my car out of my driveway. yesterday i had to clean house, the day before that i converted my buddy steven's car to mpfi. going to order a gasket kit today, then go to work at three thirty. might have some updates later. been slackin, but kind of got re motivated when i tried to smash in my girls car and it was like, way slower than my 1.5l and she's got a 2.0l... lolz granted her car is stock minus an intake we put on it and it's an auto... lol but yeah. my **** pulled like almost as hard as my buddy tony's b20vtec untill he cracks vtec. then his **** pulls harder. lol

if they fit the 88-89 prelude fogs then i will take them...i finally got a code 7 yesterday and a cel and my car bogs like crap...im gonna pick up a complete dpfi intake manifold with throttle body this weekend for $5 from efjones9 since the tps sensor is bolted on the throttle body...this might explain my bogging, gas smell and code 16 problem also...cant do mpfi conversion yet since im missing the si dizzy and resistor box...!!!

hey i have one of those too, should i start piecing together your next package? i helped my buddy go mpfi and he gave me all his dpfi stuff... so tempting to go back to dpfi just to see what kind of mpg i get. lol the brackets i got were from an 89 prelude, they have the date stickered on them, i'll take pix and msg them to you tomorrow.

up here i can get like a new si dizzy for like 200... it's kind of spendy, but when you need one you need one.

now, as far as my car goes, i ordered my gasket kit today, going to hone block tomorrow (i know i know i have been saying it for a while, but this time i WILL!!) going to order head bolts and a timing belt from napa on thursday, and might get some new rings, since ebay has npr rings for 25 dollars plus shipping. been thinking about seating alot lately, and have decided that i want a pair of em1 seats if i can find them, although i would not argue with a set of front ls/gsr/typeR seats to match my rears with. my preludes are nice, but they are luxury seats, and would be much better suited for a sedan... plus the foam on the out side of the seats on both sides has been completly broken down from fattys

it will be better if i get the dpfi manifold out here to eliminate the extra weight on shipping...if you want you can piece something together with the fog light mounts...im really gonna hunt hard now for the zc engine because mine is going to crap but will have to run it on dpfi in the mean time till i get the missing parts.

i got lots of other items to send you as well...i still got the pioneer eq and various other things lying around also...me and clipsed were gonna try to do the mpfi conversion but the dizzy he has is no bueno so he is gonna help me replace the dpfi intake manifold instead...my tps sensor is officially done but luckily the other dpfi manifold has one attached.
