no doubt. cost me 107 for tags just a few days ago... then the h/g blew.

luna, do you mean the iacv, that bolts to the back of the intake manifold? if so, i have a bunch of them... i went around my local u pull it n took every one i could find one time... lol

chorizo - no sorry man, front mounts are hard to come by intact! i can look for one at the yard on thursday when i go though if you'd like. duuuuuuuude seriously nsx ftmfw!! they're stocking me, ever so ninja like. when i rolled to my local acura stealership there was a first gen red one parked there, for sale, i think they wanted like 30k for it. and a jizz in my pants clean black 1st gen rolled into the same bay i just pulled out of at deq when i got my tags.

i think the nsx will be my mid life crisis car... or perhaps my" i finally got a kick ***, faty paycheck job and i can afford this" car

nah no a6 stuff accept for the bottom half in my car... lol i didn't like teh obd-0 stuff, so i went with a z6 manifold.

pulled my ricetastic ebay projector headlights (well one of them) out of my shed and tested out my hid's in them... there's room for improvement, but i think i'm going to perform a projector retrofit to them down the road with a decent oem hid projector, make them black housing, and rock them. i love my stock headlights, and my cut off is clean compared to what some have when using hid's in stock headlights, but it's still scattared and could use some cleaning up.

going to see if the body harness from my buddies old hf is till at the junk yard, if it is i'm snaggin it along with the electronic climate parts, i kind of want the electronic set up over the mechanical, looks cleaner imo.

i didn't hear from the machine shop today, but i priced out all the parts i need for my hg job... going to be like close to 3 bills said and done.

here's the parts list:

11251-P01-004 GASKET, OIL PAN (OTSUKA) $19.32
15650-PM3-004 GAUGE, OIL LEVEL (OTSUKA) $11.39
19200-P01-004 WATER PUMP (YAMADA) $45.94
17105-P08-004 GASKET, IN. MANIFOLD (NIPPON LEAKLESS) $12.41
95701-06030-08 BOLT, FLANGE (6X30) $2.16
15400-PT7-005 FILTER, OIL $5.07
12251-P08-004 GASKET, CYLINDER HEAD $47.48
Total $164.95

then 110 for arp head bolts via ebay... and approx 45 for the machine head work at eastco. oh n 20 for oil

sooooooooooo 340 all said and done... RAPE!!! but it's my fault. ugh. oh well

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh gotcha.

went to the junk yard today, picked up less so molested engine harness from an ex sedan, just missing the injector plugs and wires, and the plug for the coil, oh well nothing i wasn't going to replace any ways. also picked up the correct water pipe that i need, and an aftermarket fan for ac, it looks like a spal, but has brackets that are made to fit the oem bolt locations. gotta make a fs add asap, didn't realize i didn't make enough for everything i have to pay this check. fml. oh well atleast my head wasn't warped.

hmmmmmmmmmmm i've been thinking... the f20b from the euro accord makes about the same hp, and more torque than a c5 swap... and runs about 2g's less than a c5 would cost all said and done... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

edit:

just found this thread on placing hydro trans guts into a cable trans shell.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/type-r-into-ys1-1449235/

fckin ingenious to say the least. leaves the doors open for so many more oportunities.
