so the check engine light goes on....so i want to check the cel.....i read up on integra faq and it says to take the 2 wires and make it into one wit a paper clip and but the ends back into the connector.....well how the hell do u get the wires out in the first place those things are stuck in there.....

just use a paper clip or a piece of wire to bridge the two together. stick the wire into the female plug where the wire plugs into the back. do this with the motor off and the keys in the ignition on the 2nd slot just before the car fires up. this should give you the codes. refer back to the FAQ for reading instructions and codes...

 

the point is to just jump that connector

 

so ur not suppose to take the wires out at all
